Have had this for a few months now. I use window cleaning spray a lubricant. With a good honing guide, this continues to keep chisels and plane irons properly sharp and consistently bevelled. Used every day at least twice. Big advantage is that it remains flat with each use, so no need to flatten after honing, as you do with stones. Recommend.

Well, sure makes knives sharper than those cheap drag through types, if you get it wet, towel dry it as soon as, mine has got a rust spot, I think it's from the block, not sure.

Works perfectly! What more do you want from a sharpening stone? Blades jig sharpened on this stone and then correctly honed give me a bloody ferocious edge. Amazing for the money!!!

Sharpens with ease. I bought this so my grandson who is studying to be an engineer suggested it to sharpen my knives. He did just that and now everything in my house with a cutting edge is so sharp I have to be careful!

When in the holder it means the handle of my bushcraft knives stops the blade being fully sharpened

Value for money, never tried an expensive one I suspect they are better but for the money this works well

Well it's a cheap product. It does make things sharp, but isn't great. So what's wrong? It has plastic surround which gets in the way when you use it. The stand is unstable and slides around if put on a solid surface. The plates themselves, they work, but lack the refinement of a more expensive one. So it does the job, just not very well

Bin total begeistert. Preis, Leistung TOP. Schaft man auch mit herkömmlichen Schleifsteinen, jedoch nicht so sauber. Kaum Dreck. Messer, Scheren alles super scharf bekommen. 1A Schleifsteine!

Great! As people have pointed out, they're a little course in the beginning but they settle in. Watch your fingers!
