Protectant Not shiner
First I used Coke and very fine steel wool on my trailer fenders which cleaned them up real well and removed layer of oxidation, they shined up probably 30 percent. Then I used this product to protect them and it gave them just a bit more shine. A little went long way on rag.

Expensive - but reigns supreme
I don't like the price of this stuff. But since it is "marine" it has no hope of being reasonable. But I have tried many aluminum/metal polish/protectants. This is the best I have used for a couple reasons. It goes on easy, shows its "looks" instantly, and outlasts anything else. I use it on my aluminum T-top frame/pipes and all my stainless steel hardware onboard. I have even used it on some rubber and plastics to deepen the color and it works great. The only potential con for some may be its semi-oily texture. Some professionals in the Chart bussiness, etc. may claim that using it on railings and handles could leave surfaces slick and therefore add to liabilities. I use it on everything and I haven't noted any gook-like or oily texture, so long as you don't use too much. By that I mean excessively, (NOT that you have to "hold-back"). So as I said, I have used many polishes - Purple Polish stuff, Flitz, and Iosso - which are good polishes too. But this one is easiest to apply, looks best, and lasts the longest - for me.

Very easy to use and the perfect answer to my problem
I covered a dresser with aluminum flashing, which seemed like a good idea at the time. This eventually caused problems as I was only aware of how hard it was to keep clean once I had finished the project. Anyway I found this stuff and thought I would give it a go. I followed the directions and a month later the surface is still looking clean. I would describe this as like an 'oily' textured liquid that you wipe on the surface once you 'polish' the majority off there is still a small film left which wears away with time. This does have a strong smell but doesn't linger too much. Once on this does create a beautiful shine! Very pleased with this although the only down fall is that I will have to wipe this on the surface periodically but its no biggie.

Great for my stainless grill
I use to love this on my boat stainless. When I sold my boat and got older I realize that it was a wonderful stainless steel outside barbecue grill maintenance tool. I live on the beach lotta salt air and the potential for rust is great. I rinse the grill once a week and put a light coat of this. And then put a cover on it and leave it and use the grill several times a week and the grill is two years old and after I apply it it looks like a brand new grill every week. I started using it in the early 90's. Great stuffMy friends Always asked me if I got a new grill , LOL

Best stuff for Stainless steel appliances!!
Bought this for the boat rocket launchers but found out it is great on kitchen appliances. Don’t try to clean with cinch or windex after you have used this. Clean first, then just a little alumaguard with microfiber cloth l, wipe with the grain. Forgot all those stainless cleaners. This stuff is expensive but a little goes a long way

Silicone based
This product may work well but I returned it before use. I confirmed with the manufacturer that this product is silicone based, which is not mentioned anywhere in the description. If you intend to paint your boat then AVOID this product and others with silicone. Silicone migrates everywhere, is extremely difficult to remove once on a surface, and prevents paint from sticking,
