Jeep Wrangler JK install
I used this in my Jeep Wrangler JK to install a new Kenwood head unit and connect it to my radio antennae. Thiw worked perfectly and sounds great. Very easy install.***********************************************************************************************************************************************I rely on reviews when I make purchases so I put a lot of time into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon for personal and my business. Beware - Item is NOT Eligible for Return
Beware you will not be able to return this if it does not fit your vehicle. I purchased this after seeing it would fit my 07 Cobalt. When it arrived and I tried to install it, it did not fit (the Female connection end is too big). When I tried to return it to purchase a different one it says it’s not eligible for return. I get that it’s only $5 but I would not have wasted my time or money on this had Amazon listed it correctly. Amazons mistake but my problem. Don’t trust that it will fit because Amazon says it will.If purchasing for a 07 or newer Chevy Cobalt , DO NOT PURCHASE! The correct adapter is on Amazon listed as “Fits 07-2010 Chevy Cobalt”.

Worked perfectly! And a note on the blue wire...
Worked great! A word on installation though - some people say the blue wire is used to activate the amplifier for the window antenna. That's not true. The blue wire on this harness is for the speed sensor, i.e., the radio component that turns the volume up when you go faster. The blue/white wire on the actual radio wiring harness is what is used for the antenna amp power.

Does what it should. Easy install, great price.
This antenna adapter worked exactly as it should. General motors has a weird size on their antenna plug so you need this adapter in order to install an aftermarket radio. It is very easy to install as it’s simply just plugs into both the new head unit and the factory antenna. I don’t believe the sound quality plays a part here as this is merely an adapter for radio reception. It does as it should. As for Sheerness, the adapter is well built and should last forever.

Simple adapter allows aftermarket radio in GM cars.
GM radios have a smaller diameter antenna jack than aftermarket radios. This is a cheap, easy solution to making your existing antenna cable fit in your new radio.

Does what it says and required for 8th gen civic
Does what it's suppose to. I deducted 1 star for reason: they do not indicate where to tap the blue wire to. For DIY home installers, this information is crucial. I had to YouTube some videos that talk about tapping the blue antenna wire to the cars "remote" wire. I ended up taping the that blue wire to the new stereo (Sony double din) to the blue "remote amp" wire. Works fine for me.

HINT: Make sure to connect the second blue wire
This kit works fine. But there are NO INSTRUCTIONS AT ALL with it, and there is a second blue wire attached to the connector with no indication as to what it does or where it should be connected. On my 2012 Honda Ridgeline, this blue wire MUST be connected to the Remote Out line from your head unit (the wire that remotely turns on external amplifiers or controls power antennas). Although it isn't at all clear from the lack of instructions, my Honda Ridgeline has an antenna pre-amplifier that needs power from the head unit; otherwise reception will be horrible. So if you didn't connect this line and your radio reception is unacceptable or worse than with the original factory unit, do some research to see if your Honda has an antenna pre-amp that needs to be powered through this wire.

Perfect Fit
You must order this antenna adapter if you are doing your own installation. You must also connect the blue wire in Honda applications. The blue wire is for power antenna. This does not mean mechanical power antenna that goes up and down, this means amplified antenna. These types of the antennas are amplified because these Hondas use shark fin styled antennas.
