I recommend that these be stitched on to garments rather than glued. The background is metallic gold, not yellow, so they are close to the insignia on the original series. Some insignia patches have a plain cloth yellow background, like the first one I ordered (I don't recall the seller) so you have to be careful; there are cheap versions out there. This isn't one of them. It's heavy duty, and the design is stitched on, not printed. I make my own Star Trek original series shirts because they're better quality than what you buy, and more durable. The only thing missing was the insignia, and now I've got that.

This command insignia is screen accurate for the original series. There’s not much else to say. if you are looking too create a TOS uniform shirt, this is the way to go.

I couldn’t be happier with how it looks. The gold sheen is very nice and it definitely has the aesthetic/vibe of the original series.I’ll update this review if I have any issues ironing it on.

This patch is excellent quality. I expected something cheap but it actually looks really nice. I ironed and sewed per the instructions onto a garment, and it is not coming off at all. Get this if you need a good patch.

As described. 5 minutes ago I wrote a bad review on this badge saying the gold had worn off and it ruined the shirt with black stains. But I was mistaken. It was the Captain's shirt insignia that had worn off and I replaced it with this one. It's also the right size. I'm to sure if the earlier review went through already so I want to clarify just in case. I must be the older Shatner with Dimentia. lol
