Blue Horse Caddy with Matching Brown Mat compatible with Chemex Coffee Maker

The simple and sleek design of this caddy does its job at keeping your Chemex safe. We loved the design so much that we keep it as one of our three items on the kitchen counters. However, it can also be stored just as well on a shelf. This caddy gives our Chemex a designated station and a home, protecting it from accidents. The mat it great, too! It is very multi-functional. Resting in the caddy is its first place. Fitting perfectly on a scale as we measure the water for pour over is the second. Resting on a table while we enjoy our pour over is the third (we find that Chemex coffee makers easily glide on a counter if the bottom is slightly wet, so the gripping mat is essential for it. Finally, we love that there is a separate section to store paper filters. The entire design just works together so well!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this caddy. Its beautifully made and its even American made which was an extra nice bonus giving the current situation in the United States and around the world. I love that this caddy comes with attachable rubber feet to stop it from sliding, and that the matt fits snugly inside. It houses our 6 Cup Chemex perfectly. I sent a picture to my mom and now she wants one too! Will be ordering it soon!

A great new home for my Chemex! Well built and looks great! You can tell this caddy was designed specifically for the Chemex! The stain of the wood matches the stain of the Chemex collar! The drying mat is perfect for both drying the Chemex and for providing grip that helps secure the Chemex! The side filter storage allows quick access to the filters and keeps them neatly stacked. The Blue Horse Chemex Caddy is a great addition to anyone's coffee collection, but also helps your Chemex stand out on its own! I would highly recommend it to any Chemex user!

Beautiful quality and keeps my Chemex coffee maker displayed safely on the counter in between uses. No complaints at all. I can see that this will last for years and years, because I never drip it dry on the rubber mat, but I always put a small dishrag on the rubber mat first when I am dripping dry, and then I remove the rag later. Also, I love having my filters stacked neatly in the side pocket. Very handy to grab.

I thought I rated this already but maybe not! Anyway, assuming you don't put it down with the back down and the bottom up (I mean, if the mat doesn't fit, you did it wrong), this thing is great! It looks awesome, it gives your Chemex a "spot" to go, and it's very sturdy. We're pretty minimalist on our counters and even my wife was stoked on this. Really love it!

At the time I was looking to buy one of these (late November 2019) there were four different ones for sale on Amazon. They looked essentially identical (except for the silicone pads which were different colors). They were priced from $23 to $30 and I could discern no real difference between them. I chose Blue Horse because it was the only one made in America (and yet it was not the highest priced one). When I was first looking at these Chemex holders I thought "I could build one of these myself-why pay for one?" But then I admitted to myself I wasn't ever going to actually put the time in to do it. So I decided that, for $25, I'll just buy one. When It arrived I was happy to see that it was well made, well fitted together, and that I didn't need to do any sending or finishing. It was good right out of the box. On thing to note is that this box, plausibly, can be oriented two ways. With one way the silicone mat fits perfectly and with the other way the mat is too long. I noticed a couple reviewers stated that the mat they'd received was too long. I suspect that they just mis-oriented their box. My recommendation is that if you find your mat too short, rotate the box a bit and you'll find the mat now fits nicely. Overall this is a nice addition to my kitchen and worth the price.

This thing is great, it looks nice and it does it's storage job well. The one thing that needs changed is the silicone drying mat. While the hexagon patter looks nice it hold onto water too much and is very difficult to clean out, I had to let vinegar soak in it to clean it last time. A better design would be straight lines originating from the center but not showing until outside the logo bounds continuing to the outer edge of the mat, this would allow the water to evaporate from the mat faster by letting it spread out more. Just my thoughts. Still a great product.
