Zaffrus - Standard Red Saffron Threads (1.5 gram/.052 oz)

I think that I finally found a reliable premium quality Saffron supplier in US. I often use Saffron in my diet and I had a hard time to find high quality product from a US seller. I have tried several other products from different sellers but they all disappointed me in someway. Until, I bought premium quality Saffron threads from Zaffrus and wanted to try it. I was impressed by the quality and packaging. The aroma and flavor was exceptional. I love the packaging as it implies the premium feeling to the Saffron. The customer support is very supportive as they helped with expedited delivery. Will buy more in future.

This beautifully packaged item is tops all the way. The saffron in the corked bottle is a vibrant orange red. Two threads is all I need to make a delightfully colored tea I like to drink at days end when I settle down with a book. It is said to assist heart health, memory, and more. Can't speak to that I just enjoy it as a change up from green and other teas.

This is, by far, the best saffron I've ever experienced. It's better than anything you can buy in a supermarket, and the aroma and flavor is superb! The packaging makes it a great gift too! Highly recommended.

This is the only saffron that I order for months. I tried other brands too and there were good too, but Zaffrus is the one I chose and over and over I order. It is real to me and has such a beautiful color. It taste so good. Makes food so tasty and colored. I don't think I want to try other brands anymore and will stick to this one and hope it never stops to sell it. Thank you amazon for providing the good quality saffron.

I don't have a lot of basis for comparison, but this Saffron tastes just like it should based on my experience eating foods prepared by others that were flavored with saffron.This is very concentrated flavor. Only a tiny pinch (just a few threads) is needed to impart saffron flavor overtones to your cooking. It is easy for the saffron to overwhelm the flavor of your cooking if you use too much.

This was the best saffron product I ever bought in the US. Very high quality saffron imported from its originated country, Iran as the company website says, which is famous to have the best quality saffron in the world. I will definately keep purchasing my saffron from zaffrus and recommend it to everyone. I add it to my smoothy, rice, tea, etc.

When the saffron arrived, my first visual impression was that it looked great. But, when I used a few threads - the rice turned turned red - not yellow. This saffron seems to have been died to make it a dark red color. I won't be buying this one again.

Does not look like real saffron, which should have a yellow end. This looks homogeneously red, indicative of potential dye. Comes in a fancy box but this does not matter if it is fake saffron. Will not buy again.
