I’m definitely glad I invested my own personal money into these boots. I had these boots a long time ago during my first police academy and they were phenomenal then. I left the agency so I had to give them back. Fast forward to today and I’m with another agency where I work 12.5 hour shifts and the comfort and protection that these bad boys give me is honestly unbeatable (in my opinion). I love the way they look, the way they feel, the way my feet fit in them and the way it feels like I’m walking on a cloud. Being in my line of work it is imperative to take good care of our feet and these boots definitely do that for me. I’d buy them all over again and while the price is high, it isn’t too high and it’s definitely worth the money.Update — 7/12/22After two years of wearing these boots, they have held up incredibly well and still maintain their functionality. Although it may not feel like I’m walking on a cloud anymore, it does still feel very soft and cushiony, and they support my feet and back great. Most important of all, I emailed Thorogood’s customer service team today regarding a replacement set of laces for these boots. The original laces have become frayed at the ends and are unable to be laced through the eyelets. They’re sending me a free replacement set of laces. No charge for the laces or shipping. While this might be a small thing to many, to some, it’s actually really nice. No money spent on my part and I can continue rocking these boots for many years to come! 5/5 would recommend!

The media could not be loaded. Been using these for duty use last 15 yrs. Some design changes have occurred during time but still a quality boot. Danner Acadia boots are garbage to these. They are a bit heavy but great for winter. Summer they get a bit warm. They shine up amazing.

I have very wide feet. I bought wides they were a little tight (but all wides are still tight on me) they took almost 10 days to fully break in. Which means they are very sturdy well built boot. Very sure footed on snow/ice/and wet floors!! I love them!!

More comfortable than I expected. Very good quality work boot. I will buy again.

I bought these to replace my Danner’s for MC boots. Gonna ride in them today and I’ll update my review afterwards. First impressions - nice quality, comfortable, not to heavy on my feet, and fit true to size. I’m a 13W and boots in this size often run small. Over the years I’ve given away 1/2 pairs of boots that simply would not break in. These seem comfortable right out of the box. Will report back on the waterproofing.

I have worn a lot of different boots durning my 24 year career as a firefighter, these are the best boots I have had. They had held up, actually breathable durning the hot Texas summers. These will be the only ones I wear the remaining of my career.

I've worn these for over a month now. I ordered 11.5 wide. Way too tight. Never really broke in. Seriously uncomfortable. My feet are sore after a couple hours any day I wear them. I wouldn't pay 40 bucks for these, let alone the 170 i actually paid. DO NOT BUY THESE

MADE IN CHINA, these boots are not quality, not made in the USA as stated. The quality is subpar, my boots arrived with large gashes in the polishable leather toe. This is a disreputable practice and I will never buy a boot from this company again in my life.
