Smells just like you are smelling the tree or opening a Cedarwood jewelry box. I love this one! I diffuse it every night with lavender and it knocks me out and keeps me out! I also found a secret use for this oil which is crazy! I add a couple drops to my dogs bath and the fleas jump right off into the water. After I wash her and dry her I then put a couple drops in my hand with some coconut oil and rub her coat all over and then put a couple drops on her collar and no fleas! I have stopped needing to use flea drops! It wears off about once a week so you can either bathe them and do this once a week OR rub your dog down once a week with fresh oil. It is crazy how well it works!!! Please please please be sure to select the "available from other sellers" option when purchasing ANY DoTERRA product though and choose to purchase from a seller who clearly posts their Wellness Advocate ID number. This will help to ensure that you are not getting a product that has been adulterated or tampered with. This is a common issue with buying name brand essential oils on Amazon. The caps are easy to rig to appear unopened and dishonest people will dilute the expensive oil or replace it with synthetic fragrance to make a buck unfortunately. I understand why people want to get their DoTERRA on here as opposed to from the website because you want to get wholesale prices without the hassle of becoming a member. I do it! However, if you want to get it on Amazon be smart and cautious about it and please just always get it from a Wellness Advocate who lists their ID number. It will be clearly posted next to their name in the column that usually has a description such as "New" or "Unopened". Add it to your cart from the seller who lists their ID. Also, watch out for sellers whose price is LESS than the wholesale cost on the DoTERRA website because that would just make no sense. Why would someone sell something for less than they paid for it if it were brand new? Know exactly what you are putting into your body or into the air that your family breathes.

True to scent, great quality, and it arrived on time!

My significant other and I have been buying a few different scents of the doTERRA oils lately for the new oil diffuser we got for Christmas, and this one came highly recommended to us by a close friend. The cedarwood scent is VERY strong, but is ultimately pleasant - it has a very woodsy/rustic sort of smell to it. It sort of adds an instant feeling of homeyness to a room. For most of the doTERRA oils that we've bought so far, we've had to use a couple of extra drops in the diffuser to actually be able to smell them in other rooms. For this one, that ended up creating an overpowering aroma - just a couple drops is enough! I'm actually pretty happy about that though, the bottle will last a lot longer. So far we've either used this scent by itself, or mixed it with a few drops of lavender oil, which also gives an enjoyable, yet more subtle scent. Researching online, it sounds like that's actually somewhat of a common combination. Some of the other reviewers also mentioned it mixing well with lemon grass, which I plan to try soon - after using them individually I feel like they would pair well.

Good quality and concentrate scent

At the risk of oversharing (let's face it - it's no risk. I'm the queen of oversharing)... I had a large underground zit building a new home on the outside corner of my nose. It was painful. Throbbing. It was taking on a life of it's own (I even named it Tracy - but that's another story). It's been growing steadily for 3 days. Then I got a bottle of DoTerra Cedarwood essential oil in the mail today. I read in the reviews that it's good for skin blemishes. So I literally put one tiny drop on my finger and massaged it onto the "growth" (it wasn't a pick!). In about 30 minutes IT COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED! Granted - it's a potent smell - like a plank of wet wood shmeared with roasted almond butter. But no more pain! No more red throbbing bump! Goodbye Tracy! I'm ready to buy a case of this stuff. Any of you E.O. users out there have good experiences using Cedarwood in other ways? Do share!

I bought this essential oil after researching what all natural solution can be used to repel scorpions since I was going to be spending a couple nights sleeping in a adobe cabin in Arizona that scorpions had been known to find their way into. I put a few drops of the cedarwood essential oil on some cotton balls and then lined them up in front of the door in case they could somehow find their way in through a crack near the door. Also, I put a few drops on some cotton pads and put them on the floor to surround the bed I slept in. I survived 3 nights of sleeping without having to deal with any scorpions in my room and that could have been all thanks to this essential oil. And I know that the scorpions were around because the person who stayed in the room next to mine wound up finding a sleeping scorpion in her personal bathroom. Something interesting to note about this essential oil is that I found out that it definitely does NOT repel tarantulas. As I was staying in the same adobe cabin in AZ, I watched as a big hairy black tarantula crawled all around the cotton balls smelling of cedarwood and it did not seem to be disturbed by the smell. I found that to be pretty humorous.

This product works. I have tried other anti-fungal products with no success. Follow the directions and as your toenail grows out you can see it working.
