Amazon Basics 2.4 GHz Optical Wireless Mouse for Laptop and Computer, USB Nano Receiver, Red

Great mouse! Not only good, but feels and operates as well as, or better than a Microsoft mouse, and a lot more reasonable! Comes with AAA batteries, the USB transceiver is stored inside the battery compartment (good when packing and traveling), and a white support strap lays down below the installed batteries so that it is easier to remove them when its time to change the battery. Be sure to go into Control Panel/Mouse and make any click-speed or mouse movement adjustments to your liking. I plan on buying another one of these for my second HP laptop. The USB transceiver is immediately responsive and you will see a red laser at the bottom of the mouse.

The Amazon Basics 2.4Ghz mouse works well right out of the box. I really appreciate its compact size, as it doesn’t take up much space on a mouse pad or flat surface—great if you’re working in a limited area. Its ergonomic design also feels comfortable under the hand. Overall, I think it offers good value for the money, and it’s very easy to set up and use. So far, the battery life has been solid—I’ve used it for three months and it’s still going strong. I put in Amazon Basics battery in this mouse, and surprisingly it lasting a long time.

Several months ago when the keys on my laptop mouse pad started to go out, I was really irritated because I have gotten so used to using the mouse pad that I was worried that I wouldn't be able to work as efficiently using a wireless mouse. I knew that it would only be a few days before the keys got to the point that I wouldn't be able to use them and started looking on Amazon for a wireless mouse that I might possibly be able to stand using on a daily basis. I spotted the AmazonBasics Wireless Mouse and thought that it wouldn't be that great because it was way cheaper than most of the other wireless ones that I could find. I went ahead and placed my order because I needed something and thought that if it didn't work that well, I wouldn't be out of that much money. When it arrived, I was happy to see that it was a tad bit smaller than other ones that I have used with desktops in the past since I have small hands. I opened the package, popped in some batteries, plugged the nano receiver into my USB slot, and it was working instantly. I thought that it would take some time to install ( I did not read much on it when I purchased it honestly, I just needed one quick!), but was SO happy to see that it needed nothing to be installed. I have been using this wireless mouse for about a year and half now and I have recommended it to SO many people who were looking for one. I work at home on my laptop 7 days a week and anywhere between 12 - 18 hours a day. I only have to change the batteries about once every two months (sometimes it will go a little longer and sometimes a little bit less - not sure on why though). This mouse has worked flawlessly since the day of purchase and I was SO wrong to think that because it was cheaper than the others that it wouldn't work as well. There has never been a time where it disconnected from the computer or that there was any issue using it. A few times when it has needed the batteries changed and I wait a few days, there is a tiny lag - but that is all my fault. The AmazonBasics Wireless Mouse has a little red indicator light that lets you know when the batteries are getting low and need to be changed. I like that feature so that I'm always aware of when they need to be changed. Since I travel a lot, this mouse is great because it doesn't take up a lot of space in the laptop bag. I also never have to worry about losing the nano receiver because once you remove the little door to the battery area, there is actually a space that the nano receiver clicks into making it perfect for travel. If you are in the market for a great wireless mouse, I would recommend the AmazonBasics Wireless Mouse because it has been through over a year of my all day, everyday use and still works just like the day that I purchased it!

***one blind mouse review*** economically priced mouse that is comfortable for an average hand to large hand. Great and fast response. Awful battery life. ***two blind mice review*** I had a Logitech V450 Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for PC and Mac that I absolutely loved. But after dropping it for the umpteenth time, it finally dropped dead on me... When I had to replace it, serendipity happened that this Amazon basics mouse was in the lightning round. I couldn't resist picking it up to save almost $30.00. It didn't disappoint. 1) comfort: I am 5-7 and I wear large sized gloves. This mouse felt comfortable in my hand. I had a perfect ergonomic grip on it where it didn't feel like I was "clutching". It is also an amphibious mouse, making it both usable on both land and water...OK, kidding, it is an ambidextrous mouse which is great for an ambidextrian like me. My clicking fingers rest comfortably on the clickers. Even using it for house, my hand do not get fatigued like some of the other mice I've used. Rubbery plastic on top and smooth plastic on the side and light weight. Comfortable all around. 2) response: The mouse responds well on most of the surfaces that I've used it on. Paper, coated plastic, rubber, sometimes, even over my laptop itself over the keys. its nano receiver is pretty powerful. When there are no obstructions, it worked well within a 6 feet range. Which is great for those presentation times. 3) battery life: This is where this mouse gets a 4 star instead of 5 star. it is a battery hog when compared to other nano-mice. When I first purchased it, I would leave it on all the time where my average use per day ranged from 4 hours to 12 hours use. I would have to replace the battery about once every 2-3 weeks. I then started to turn it off (whenever I could remember to turn it off) and it would last me a little bit longer, but still, not as long as when compared to Logitech V450N on all the time. When I had Logitech V450N, I would leave it on ALL the time, and it would be MONTHS before I had to replace the batteries. With the Amazon mouse, the battery life is extremely short... It is also very annoying having to turn of the mouse on/off just to conserve battery life. Definitely could use an improvement here... ~~~~~~~ overall, I would purchase this mouse again. The price just can't be beat for its overall function and comfort. As far as installation of the batteries go, I personally don't find them hard to install. However, I find that if I didn't use the battery plastic tab remover when I first installed it, I would have to pry the batteries out with a screw driver or something. but If I remembered to use the plastic tab and place the batteries over it when I would first install it. Removing it is a cinch. With Windows 7, simple plug and play. Not sure about other Windows systems.

This mouse works as well as much higher-priced brand-name items. It fits well in the hand. The durability is very good. Considering the price compared to other brand names, this is a very good value.

Good mouse with hight quality. Works like a charm. I recommend for anyone looking for a cheap high quality Amazon basics mouse. You wont regret it.

I normally use the Logitech M325c. I've gone through dozens over the years. It works very well, but they seem to wear out fast; the wheel scroll is what fails. I decided to give the Amazon Basics a try. So far, it looks, feels, and functions the same as the Ltech; it doesn't have the fun colors, but if it holds up longer than a year, it's a fair tradeoff. I will revise this review if things change in the future, but as of now, I would recommend the Amazon Basics and will replace the other Ltech's when the time comes.

Fantastic value. First it feels like a quality mouse and works like a mouse 3-4x the price. It is solid and has nice weight to it, not like some of the flimsy competitors. I am buying another just to have.

El ratón inalámbrico de Amazon Basics me ha sorprendido muy positivamente. A nivel estético, es bonito y discreto, con un diseño que da buena impresión desde el primer momento. La conexión es rápida y automática, sin fallos ni interrupciones, lo cual se agradece muchísimo. En cuanto al tamaño, es perfecto: ni demasiado grande ni pequeño, y además tiene una ligera forma anatómica que hace que encaje muy bien en la mano. Los clics de los botones son suaves y silenciosos, con una sensación agradable al presionarlos. La ruedecita también se desliza con suavidad y responde bien, lo que hace que el uso diario sea cómodo. Lo único que me ha resultado curioso es el botón de encendido y apagado, ya que en otros modelos que he tenido, para encender había que subir la palanquita, y en este es al revés: se enciende bajándola. No es un defecto, solo una cuestión de costumbre. En resumen, un ratón cómodo, funcional y con buena relación calidad-precio, ideal para quienes buscan algo sencillo que funcione bien sin complicaciones.

Wonderful product. Just about the right size. The movement of the mouse and the cursor movement are in perfect sync and there's no delay whatsoever. Highly recommended if you are looking for a wireless mouse.

Lo esperaba mas frágil pero se siente muy bien acabado incluso mejor que otros de marcas reconocidas. Probé solo 1 de las 30 pzas y no tuve problema de recepción o alcance de señal.
