Convenient!
These are super convenient for on the go, or to pack for work. They give you a great energy boost and they taste good as well. They are a tad expensive but the quality and convenience make it worth it in my opinion

Tastes pretty good
This mix comes in 10 individual pouches. You just add water and shake them up. They have a little ball inside each pouch to allow for easy mixing with no clumps. Prior to mixing, the pouches are very thin so they are easy to toss in a bag without taking up any room. However, if you wanted to fill this pouch mid hike, for example, you will need to be able to carefully pour your water into a small opening. It is about the size of a typical plastic water bottle, which may be difficult to pour into easily. I don't find the pouch to be super comfortable to hold either. It has a lid to screw on and off, so if you don't drink this all at once you will have to remove and hold onto the lid each time. I usually just try to drink it all at once, but if that isn't your preference, it may not be super convenient. I think that the flavor is pretty good. It has a nice fruity flavor without tasting excessively sweet, which I really prefer. It may have given me a slight recharge after drinking, but that is always hard to identify. I would consider purchasing these again if I caught them on a sale price.

Lots of energy
I love that these come in convenient pouches that you just add water and shake real good and they are ready to go. I love the taste and I like that they don’t leave an aftertaste like some do. I drink one of these first rung in the morning and I’m ready to go lol. These really give me a lot of energy and it seems to last almost all day. I don’t get tired or sleepy and I like that they don’t make me feel sleepy after a long day. These are also great for on the go, they are easy to take anywhere and you don’t have to worry about spilling any. I love these also have a lot of vitamins but doesn’t have a vitamin taste. These are some of the best I’ve drunk and I will definitely purchase again. Would Recommend!!

Excellent energy drink, ready to mix, just add water, great ingredients, bcaas, plus a nice taste.
These energy drink mixes are nice, they remained sealed until you need to use one, just need to add water, and it makes an instant energy drink, which can be consumed when or whereever, this is the tropical strawberry flavor, I thought it had more of a mango taste at first, but perhaps it's just me, I like this is pre-mixed, so no guessing how much water to add, just fill the bottle with as much water as it can hold and shake it even has little round plastic mixers inside to help mix, easy! This drink has mostly everything needed for a pre-workout drink as well as an electrolyte drink, it even has BCAAs, plus other great ingredients:Vitamin A, C, B, E, Sodium, Thiamine, Riboflavin, Niacin, Panothenic acid, Choline, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, Chromium, Potassium, L-Phenylalanine, L-glutamine, Glycine, Taurine, Golden Root extract, Schisandra Extract, L-Carnitine, Gotu Kola Extract, Ionic trace mineral complex, Coenzyme Q-10, L-Glutathione.The drink is low in sugar, but it does contain sucralose a commonly used artificial sweetener.Overall I like them, but I think they are a bit costly at $34.99, however they are a great alternative to powders and canned drinks, they are compact, lightweight and can fit almost anywhere, these also agreed well, no stomach issues and easy to drink. I would have liked to seen a 12 pack for this price, which is similar to other sport drinks cost.

Convenient except for one's inner wilderness
As a daily trail runner, the natural setting for my experiments with this product was the run, and in my case, I experimented by consuming preworkout. While extremely convenient, I haven't experienced any noticeable effect. Wilderness Athlete should probably better define usage for this product, as "hydrate, energize, recharge, overcome" is all over the map, not really targeting preworkout, postworkout, or midworkout. While this product can conceivably be consumed at any time, it becomes challenging for someone like me to rate because there is no bar against which a comparison can be made. The emphasis here should be on convenience more than cost or anything else, because there are no unique ingredients. Entertainingly, one reviewer here commented "nowhere could I find mentioned the amount of water to add", but why is this information needed when usage simply involves filling up the pouch with water and shaking? Perhaps most interesting, another reviewer here claiming to have a "fairly health conscious" family which "gets most of [their] groceries from Whole Foods" doesn't even mention the maltodextrin, fructose, and Sucralose. Yes, the powder in these pouches actually provides all three of these, with the maltodextrin and fructose providing 5g of added sugars! Listed as the first ingredient by product volume, maltodextrin has a higher glycemic index than sugar! And I'm not sure why products such as this insist on making use of artificial sweeteners like Sucralose, which aren't exactly beneficial for one's inner wilderness.

Convenient and drinkable, but hard to tell if it really recharges me.
To test this product, I've been reserving it for a midpoint drink on mountain bike rides that are notably hot, steep, or long -- or all of these. The pouches are easy to mix, and I've had good results adding water to about 2/3rds full, freezing overnight, then topping off with the rest of the water. Which means that an hour into a hot ride, the pouch is still cool, at least. The flavor is a bit medicinal, but really not unpleasant, maybe even tasty in a way -- after all, the original Gatorade was itself an acquired taste! So I don't mind the flavor, and I like the thought of replenishing my electrolytes mid-ride. But does it make a difference? More than just water and an energy bar, say? I guess I was hoping for some kind of energy surge, but I really couldn't tell.

Tastes good, Quality ingredients, Easy to travel, Kinda pricey
I like the taste of this hydration drink. It has a lot of good stuff in it for you. I could see this being helpful while backpacking or camping. The price is kinda high, but you get quality with your money. Under the right circumstances, I could see it being worth it.Recommended
