This publication is a much-needed, welcome addition to books on the the empty nest topic--and the best one I have read so far.

Finding Joy in the Empty Nest isn’t just a must-read for those new to the stage; it’s an inspirational and informational resource for those who have navigated it for years. I wish Jim had written the book before my husband, Jon, and I were empty nesters, but I still underlined my way through it, even though we already have teenage grandchildren.I recently finished it and am looking forward to discussing it with Jon. We both long to leave a meaningful legacy and make the most of the time we have left, be it in deepening our relationships, cheerleading our grandchildren, serving our church, or reaching out in different ways to our community. The empty nesting phase hit my husband and I like a ton of bricks!
