Great bargain find. I love that one side is curved to really control the liquid while still giviing it weight. A little tricky to get out but well worth the price. Can tell they were made with thought and care. Will be purchasing again in the future for sure.

I bought these for my dad to make sauerkraut. They fit perfectly inside the jar and are shaped so that if additional weight is needed, they can be stacked. It breaks down to $3 a peice which is $4 less than a single stone everywhere else. Great item, great price

Used these weights with one-quart wide mouth Ball jars and they fit very well. Just enough space around the edge to easily place them in the jar and remove them when finished. Weight seems to work well for fermented cucumbers. kept everything under the liquid.

So happy to have these now I can’t believe that I waited so long to pull the trigger on them! Better than any makeshift workaround weight system I’ve tried. These fit perfectly in my side mouth mason jars and an old salsa jar (with a little room around the edge of the weight for liquid to pass through, of course).If you’re even considering these, buy them now. If you do any fermenting, especially of buoyant items, you really want these (or something similar).

A good product whose packaging sucks. The glass weight storage tube inside the Amazon box did not properly secure the glass weights. When the box was opened, the weights were loose and scattered about. One glass weight was shipped beyond use and had to be thrown away!

Agreed with other review that those are perfect but if they are the thing you are looking for.Coated the flat bottom with 3 coats of UV blocking artist varnish medium. Then glued on with ModPodge paper bases with my custom designs. Then sealed those in with MidPodge and stuck felt backer on them and they worked perfectly at the poker table. Would be great for custom paperweights as well

I almost didn’t buy these because they don’t have a knob to pull them out. Another reviewer mentioned that you just push down on one side and the other side pops up so you can easily grab onto it and pull it out of the jar. I have the ones with the knobs. These are far superior. They seem heavier and they are slightly larger. They fit perfectly into a wide mouth jar and do a nice job of weighing down the veggies. I took a picture of one inside the jar. I outlined it in red as it’s a bit hard to see. Highly recommended.

Started to ferment and needed something other than a ziplock baggie filled with water to hold my veggies in the brine. Glad I found these glass fermentation weights. So easy to use and clean
