Bought this for squeaky wooden slats on our bed. They’re screwed in and, when tightening them didn’t work, I tried this as a last resort before unscrewing them all and putting socks over them. This didn’t even come close to working, and in fact, it made the squeaking louder. Fun times. :-/

I think it’s great that this company offers a very small and low priced sample so you can see if the product actually works for you. It didn’t work for me, but I didn’t have to make a big investment to find that out.

If your floor squeak is between two boards don’t use this product!! It claims as a lubricant but once this lubricant drys it makes your squeaking noise louder!!!!!! My floor wasn’t squeaking this loud before applying this product.

I bought the sample size to see if it would help our squeaky wood plank floors. The lubricant penetrated the floor seams effectively and quickly and the squeaks stopped, but the squeaks returned later that day and even louder. Ironically the lubrication enabled more movement of the planks. For reference, our house was built in 1948, Los Angeles county, and the wood planks appear to be oak and are not inter-locking (see photos).

This is not the same as it’s advertised. Only gets better the first day, and come back to same noisy sound the 2nd day

Got some awfully squeaky boards in between the bed and the en-suite bathroom. Any nighttime potty visits involve cartoon villain stepping your way across the room and usually still making a racket.This is a “trial size” container but may actually be enough to treat up to 22sqft. The applicator has a needle and is easy to handle.In theory, it was enough to resolve our entire problematic area. In theory.But, as the manufacturer CLEARLY points out, there can be multiple cause of floorboard noises, and this lubricant addresses only one of them. For us, I think the issues is actually improperly laid boards and underlay / foam sheets. Or weird joists.So this wasn’t successful.But the container, and the effectiveness of the lubricant, plus reasonable cost of the trial size, are all favorable. Despite wiping up after application, our floor is now an absolute slippery death trap if wearing socks - BE CAREFUL! Even after wet wiping the boards several times, still super slippery, which speaks well for the product’s longevity.Giving 5 stars because, for the specific issue this is designed to solve, I’m sure it’s brilliant. Maybe we can quickly slide our way across the floor and make less noise now..?
