Best kitchen tool I own!
During a recent kitchen update I asked my contractor to design a mixer cabinet with a Rev-a-shelf. He had never seen one before. I love love love it! I had the contractor install the Rev-a-shelf level with my island top so I can use it on the island or the shelf and I never have to lift it. My wonderful contractor also install a power outlet inside the cabinet so the mixer is always plugged in. When he brought his wife out to see the Rev-a-shelf she was in love too. She said she wants multiple cabinets one for each of her small appliances. My contractor no longer speaks to me.

There should be a handle on the shelf to pull it out

The Rev a Shelf lifting system came with a damaged box but the item was not damaged. The Information about it on the description does not mention it needs to be installed in a cabinet without a drawer in it or else the shelving system will not fit. Unfortunately I purchased it and was unable to install it. When trying to return it I went thru Amazon and they directed me to the Buildcom and I was sent back and forth until the 30 return days expired. They really took me for a ride for $300

Works well for the most part
The product works well and definitely can hold the weight of the KitchenAid stand mixer. I have two primary issues, which aren’t deal breakers. Firstly, the instructions were a bit hard to understand and I ended up looking up a video on how to install them, especially because I didn’t realized I’d have to be adding my own supports to the cabinet for installation. Secondly, the recommended installation dimension work great before you have your counter top put in. We installed this prior to our countertops being installed and after this was done the platform hit the edge of the counter so that it couldn’t lock in place. This was fixed by cutting off approximately 2 inches of the wood platform but given that counter overhangs are pretty standard, this should have been accounted for. These aren’t deal breakers and overall this is still a quality product.

This is a high quality mixer stand. If you have ever used a mixer stand, you wouldn't want it any other way.

The perfect feature in my new kitchen!
My grandmother had a lift for her mixer and I have always wanted one for my KitchenAid. This lift by Rev-A-Shelf is perfect for my new kitchen and I am excited to try it out. I see much more baking and cooking in my future!

Mixer lift
So much easier than lifting my heavy stand mixer every time I need to use it. Sturdy and easy to operate
