Good product good clear finish. Need lots ventilation as smells strong when applying it. Finish is worth it. Painted exterior wooden hand painted house plaque.

Good varnish, but the smell is extremely strong and took days to fade away. If possible use outdoors or have all the windows and doors open

Did the job

My son used this Polar Clear Lacquer for a woodworking project, and I have to say the results are beautiful. He carefully rollered it on outside, let it dry (thankfully!), and then proudly brought it inside to show off his handiwork. That’s when the stink hit. Imagine if a paint factory and a nail salon had a baby—that’s the aroma now haunting our home. If this lacquer were a person, it would be the guest at a party who looks amazing but refuses to shower. That said, the finish is great, and my son is thrilled with how his project turned out. The wood looks fantastic, and it seems like it will hold up forever, which is about how long I expect this smell to linger. Highly recommended if you want a durable, satin finish, just make sure you have a well-ventilated area and are ready for the lasting smell!

Worst product ever. Did not dry on wood after weeks. was impossible to sand afterwards. Avoid at all cost

Used it over a chalky furniture paint. It does make the paint colour darker buy that wasn't an issue for me. Needs to be applied in a well ventilated place due to the smell. I applied with a sponge roller. I wouldn't do this again as bits of the roller started coming off and sticking to the furniture. Eventually the roller sleeve began to disintegrate. Took ages to fully dry hard. At least a couple of days

Brilliants stuff. A high gloss, water-resistant coat I needed to protect my wire sculptures A+++

I have painted lots of little painted models with this stuff. It really stinks when curing, you really need to have fresh air in plenty supply - but once it has cured it's brilliant and has been hard wearing so far. really makes the colours pop out :)

It’s perfect quality, it has so much gloss , it’s easy to use , and I don’t love the stickiness but when finished is so satisfying, I think is worth it

I use this for the first time today it was easy to apply, had a strong odor, but seems to add a very nice shine to what I was working on it's not dry yet so we'll see how it does but so far so good I would buy it again.

Great product

The thinness of this lacquer is something to take note of. Watch your edges! Also the smell... Do NOT apply this unless you have open windows and a mask on. The smell is toxic! It looked great when wet but dried spotty. I was applying to an engraving, not my first rodeo but will be with this product.
