Readible!
Very nice sized print. Nice to find a larger print Catholic ESV.

Just Plain Good
I love the paper. And unlike what Crossway does with their genuine leather Bibles, the text block is correctly aligned inside the leather cover. The whole thing just screams of quality and careful attention to detail. If Now if Cambridge would make a similar binding of the ESV Study Bible...

An Excellent Bible!
I'm happy with the calf split leather and ink/paper quality. The overall look and feel of the Bible is nice. I'm glad to have the expanded Apocrypha between the Testaments. It is well worth the hefty price tag. I recommend it to anyone considering and on the fence!

Truth in the description
Amen and Amen. The description of this bible is great! "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14. "Since then we have da great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 iLet us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:14-16.

At this price point I think they could do better
Overall it’s not bad but for this price it should be better. It’s a glued binding and the paper isn’t that great, and the cover is already starting to curl. I honestly expected more. I knew I wasn’t getting a premium bible but I did expect better based or reviews and the brand. However, if it was $50 or less it would be totally worth it IMO.

Beautiful Bible, but slightly disappointed about Esther
So this Bible is fantastic I want to say that first of all.I want a Bible that is nice and comfortable size and very nice to feel and hold. Is it pricey? Yes, absolutely, but that is not much of an issue since the hardcover version exists and look very nice.I am not YET an Orthodox Christian (I am an inquirer into the church), and I carry a "bag of faith/prayer bag" on me carrying my prayer book, prayer ropes, some icons, etc. I wanted a portable Bible Orthodox Bible but it's somewhat hard.I decided to look for Bibles with the Apocrypha since it has the other books in the Orthodox canon (+ 2 Esdras & 4 Maccabees). I initially had the NRSV with Apocrypha but found out that in SOME jurisdictions, it is prohibited for liturgical and private use (no matter as I do not like the NRSV anyways). That Bible was quite heavy anyways, but thought okay maybe this will be nice judging by YouTube videos.I got the Bible today and immediately went to check Esther--and this is really my only disappointment. So the Orthodox Study Bible translates ALL of Esther from the Greek, and the NRSV translates Esther in Greek AND Hebrew (in the Apocrypha section, they translated it according to the Greek so that the additions may be read in their proper context). I saw some reviews for this Bibles and was relieved seeing the table of contents because I was worried it was just the additions, or Hebrew Esther with the Greek additions.Getting the Bible today, I immediately checked it as I said and felt immediate disappointment. The book of Esther in the Appcrypha section is the Hebrew Esther with the Greek additions.Again, this is disappointing because I would like the additions in their PROPER context, not stripped from the Greek text.NOW, the footnotes do read that where the Hebrew and Greek is extant, it is kept the same as the regular ESV Esther, but why would you have an entire section for two books of Esther when they both translated from the Hebrew? The difference is minimal, and that don't exactly keep it the same, such as Esther 1:10 reading differently due to the different renderings of the names. Because the difference is minimal and I like the Bible as it is, I decided keep this Bible. It truly is a beautiful Bible, and if you want all the Deuterocanonical books, then get it! The ESV, in my opinion, is one of the best translations out there. Just be aware of how they do Esther, as it is somewhat disappointing. If you want to know, know that the text is extremely small.

Not a new Bible
While this a lovely and expensive Bible, the seller advertised it as new (Prime Deals, USA). It is clearly not a new Bible- it doesn’t have the plastic covering the Bible itself and there were pages folded over and a mark on the front cover as seen in the attached photos. Very disappointing as I was looking forward to receiving this Bible.

Best Bible I have ever owned
I got this to go with a couple of other Cambridge Bibles I own. Using for devotions and sermon prep. Then can take Pit Minion out and about, this matches page for page so my familiarity with page layout is not lost when delivering talk. Font size is perfect, pages are great. Prefer the feel to Crossway bibles. Also superficially the leather feels and works great!

ESV Diadem Calf Split Excellent!
Excellent Bible, quality cover which is a bit more robust that goatskin and therefore not to floppy in the hand which I prefer. High quality paper and print. Perfect text size for those that struggle with the Pitt Minion, however has the same layout if you want to use both.
