Bought this as a gift for my hubs. He drives an older chevy that has no center console. He LOVES it!

Overall, I highly recommend this console.It installs easy, works mostly as intended, and looks great. The containment potion is large and holds everything I need it to without and unnecessary latches or mechanisms. The open storage is excellent for my pens, phone, and other short-term or often-accessed items.The cons: The cup holders are wimpy. It'll contain (as long as you drive gentle) a water bottle or a energy drink, but it will not hold your chonky yeti cup, coffee mug, or your fast food cup if the vehicle is under ANY motion. The holding strap is not positioned in the proper location to place the clip board in a suitable writing angle NOR will it save the hinges or edge material from hyper extension.

As others have said the cupholders are crap. Way too small for today's giant vessles of refreshment. Not only are the cupholders crap, the entire plastic tray into which they are molded feels flimsy. After a few years of sitting out in the sun, I can see it cracking. The lid has a limiting strap, but it is too long by at least an inch, so if you were to press down on it to write something, it will stress the hinge badly. Other than that, the rest of the thing seems to be quality. Made of wood, covered in what I assume is vinyl, with nice padding on the arm rest. Nice size storage bin. Why do they only offer it in black and gray? Don't they realize that vehicles old enough to have bench seats were made before cars were so freakin boring. There were all different interior colors.That said, this fits the bench seat in my '93 Ram D250 like a glove. I will need to get some tan vinyl paint or dye so it will match my interior.To fix the useless cupholders, I got 2 of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0752DZ1SB?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1They fit well, and allow me to bring my travel mug along for the ride.I will probably end up taking out the plastic cupholder part and screwing in a wooden panel so it won't fall apart in the sun.

Made with pretty good quality. Would not recommend getting if you have a manual truck as will affect shifting.
