Love this! I live in Maine! The state for lobster!Every visiting family, guest, or visitor wants lobster!!I hate the huge pan in the kitchen and the smell of cooking lobster… so have wanted one of these for years. Well I finally retired, and said I am buying one to make life easier!Did research this one was highly recommended so took a chance!It worked fantastic right from the first use.Heats up fast! Easy to assemble with a smart husband😝,it also arrived very quickly!I can honestly say.. I am Very happy and satisfied with my purchase!

This is very easy to assemble and use. The manual for using is very easy to read and follow.

I cooked chowder for 30 people in my fryer. It worked great. The downfall of the product is that it needs to be relighted every 15 minutes. There is a timer on the flame unit for safety when frying a turkey.

Timer is to short

It's a bit hard to rate this product on what it is, easier for what it isn't. It isn't sturdy, it isn't sufficient for any serious crawfish boiling. The basket is way too small for the pot, and all the pots and strainers are very thing aluminum. The burner is made of about 3/8 steel and isn't very sturdy either. You can use this to boil crawfish in, but you'll only be able to make about 4-5 pounds at a time, mostly due to the small size of the strainer, which is only comes up to about half-way up the pot height.In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend this, except for those who have only a little to put in their pot, but around here, most people buy a sack or two to boil at a time. This will take you all day to feed 3 or 4 people, so just beware.I can't really blame the seller, since everything is as shown, but how this item got such high ratings, I don't know. Being a person who hates returning things, I'll keep it, maybe useful for boiling potatoes and corn; but I'll be buying a better burner and pot in the near future to use for the crawfish.

The mask just needed to be taller

I bought this for ONE thing, boiling maple sap. It holds a lot which I really like. I didn’t know when I purchased it that it has a safety feature that only allows it to run 15 minutes at a time. Otherwise I could have filled it up and only came back every couple of hours. I may try to by pass the safety switch

this unit was cost friendly and easy to assemble. all parts were received with out any damage as I seen mentioned in other reviews. you might find the safety timer a bit of a nuisance yet it didn't trouble myself any as I typically stay near to what I am cooking especially when using Gas. I solved the issue by letting everyone know to push the red button periodically so our flame never went out. I do recommend doing a initial burn for about a half hour to burn off the coatings on the burner as it does put off quite an odor the first time lighting it. I boiled water in the big Pot this also helped me understand the safety button. All said and done A GREAT unit at a Good price

Meh, does it do the job? Yes.Does it blow out in the wind? Yes.Is it borderline terrifying? Yes.Did it come with a giant dent? YesWas it almost pierced through by the cast piece? Yes.Did I return it? No, it fries turkey everybody!!!12 lbs in less than 40 minutes!!!Sweet potato chips in in under 8 and potato chips and fries in under 7. Whoop whoop I love “Terry” the “terri-frying” fryer!!! Whoop whoop!!

THIS IS MY SECOND KOOKER ORDERED!We were super excited to purchase this because we have held off not wanting to spend the money. But we decided to splurge.We ordered our first set just into the new year and the box was all smashed in and the pots were both damaged. I called Amazon customer service, they were great. They sent out a new one and I returned the first one. Well, this is the second one. It came double boxed this time which didn't make any difference because the punctures in the pot are worse than what we originally recieved. I normally wouldn't complain but this is an expensive product, and considering the depth of the punctures and the high heat the pots endure, I'm sure it will be no time until the punctures turn to holes. What a waste of money and bother!

After reading the mixed review, I have to say I was doubting it. But wen I came everything was legit and everything worked well. The pot is thin yes, but it came undented and it did the job. So I don't see anything negative about it I also fried some empanadas and the heat held 12 empanadas at a time. The heat was golden and didn't take too much of the propane. So yes it worth the getting it. Especially for fried turkey is was a great experience.

The media could not be loaded.  The propane gas flow detector doesn’t work, had to tie wrap it down to keep a flame. Smaller pot was dented beyand repair, lid will not seal on it. Paint on stand smells terrible, not a flame resistant paint at all.
