With the title, Complete Works on Paper, it could STRONGLY be interpreted that the book would actually contain Van Gogh's artwork, but it does not. Just a listing of the works. 850+ pages of listings. Just for the deception, it should only get 1 star. I gave it 2 stars because, for what it is, it is probably an accurate listing of Van Gogh's works. But nowhere in the description does it say that it does not include photos of the actual artwork. Since artists' actual works are often described as "catalogs" or "catalogues" of work, it is very deceptive/misleading not to be honest about what the book is and is not.
