JDJetting00-19 Suzuki Drz400S: Jd Jetting Jet Kit (JDS005)

I used this and did the 3x3 mod on a 2017 DRZ400. I was hesitant because of the price, and cutting into my new to me bike, but once I did it, it felt like I gained about 50cc of power. This is an excellent value, because the step by step instructions, chart, and all the little things you need, eliminate so many variables and make it all come together nicely.100% recommend if you want to wake up the sleepy DRZ and turn it into (what feels like) a DRZ450.

Must have mod for the DRZ400! Woke my bike up. Factory these bikes come jetted very lean for emissions reasons, this kit allows for better power across the rev range specially if you also have supporting mods like an exhaust. The included documents has detailed instructions for each bike and tuning settings. My bike has Yoshimura RS-3 exhaust, stock header, 3x3 airbox mod, 160MJ 25P blue clip pos-4. Quality stuff!

This plus de 3x3 mod is the first upgrade to be done. Once you dial in the settings the bike wakes up and becomes fun.IMPORTANT tips to avoid headaches:Not mentioned enough, when getting this kit also order a JIS spec Phillips screwdriver or bit! The bolts on the carb are butter and will easily strip if you use a standard Phillips head. Depending on your luck they will come off easily or you will need an impact driver to loosen them with the carb attached to a vise.Depending on how old the bike is you might want to also order a rebuild kit to replace gaskets and some cleaner since ethanol gunks up the bowl.Removing the carb is kinda hard, the included instructions make it look easy but do yourself a favor and just remove the gas tank and warm up the plastic intake boot with a hair dryer or heat gun to make it more maleable.When installing again make sure both ends of the carb have a good seal, vacuum leak is a common problem since the rubber collars can gap.Finally, aside from ordering the JIS screwdriver also order an aftermarket long fuel screw to make the tuning easier.

Great kit for my DRZ, much better throttle response over stock setup.

I would’ve gave 5 stars but the plastic container was shattered into peices when I got it. Luckily none of the contents were damaged and they were all there. 1 more happy customer here.

This really woke up my old DRZ. Quicker starts, snappier throttle, better mileage. The goofy instruction sheet printed on letter paper in someone's basement could be refined a bit but they communicated critical stuff well enough that my ADHD instruction-hating brain could actually follow them and end up with a good result.

Easy instructions and so simple even an infantrymen can do it...
