Love these hats for my 2 and 5 year old. They actually look really cute/cool on and are not cheesy. They are swimsuit material but sturdy and washable for versatility from pool to activities. It was our "all summer long" hat.The brim is firm but bendy so it won't crease but doesn't flop into face at all. It doesn't have a stiff plastic insert in brim or anything. Love the drawstring with easy press and slide action. Long enough back flap touches shoulders for good sun protection on my small 5 year old and same on my 2 year old (not too big on him but he has a huge head for age 2). Would take off 1 star because they slightly slip forward occasionally on my kids' heads, either because of the head shape design... or because they were too big for my kids--love room to grow though. I had to sometimes pull down on the back of the hat so the brim was up out of their eyes more. Again, not sure if this was because they are a little big on my kids. Because they are stretchy, I thought they fit great otherwise.

This is a very good hat with a soft material that can be easily folded and stretches to fit almost any size, and the strap helps keep it from getting lost. However, the large in the size chart is not made for a secure fit for sports for the age range listed in the chart, so you should get the small if you have children in the lower part of that age range. The large was too loose on my 7-year old, so I purchased the small and it fit very securely. I am purchasing two more in size small to have in reserve. The large might even fit adults because the material stretches nicely.

My daughter is 4 months, and I wanted her to wear this for this summer. Right now it's a little too big, but we'll make it work. The quality is nice. Feels almost like swimsuit material. So it will keep her cool and protected.*update - my daughter is 6 months old now, and I used this hat this past weekend. It was perfect! it is made out of swimsuit material. So it keeps her nice and cool, and the back of the hat drapes over the top of her shoulders and upper back. So great for keeping the sun off. The drawstring is great to keep it under her neck more too. I need to buy another one to keep at my sitter's house that has a pool.*

Received the Vaenait Baby Hat fast. Tried it out on my 15 month old and it fit perfect, plus the adjustable cord helps to make it difficult for him to take off. I love this product and plan on getting the next size up when he grows out of it.

Strap should be moved back closer to the ears and stitched in underneath the flap. Instead it is positioned right by the brim and eyes so the strap slides off immediately. If you try tucking the strap behind the ears it interferes with the flapped the child's ears won't be protected from the sun. Quality was an issue as well as it arrived with loose threads and the fit is large and the brim droops. If they adjusted the pattern so that the strap is positioned closer to the ears & inside the flap instead of by the eyes it would fit much better. If you're looking for a hat with a strap it's best to look elsewhere.

I bought this hat for my almost 3 year old to wear because she is allergic to sunscreen and needs extra protection. I got her a large. This hat runs big. But it's not too big for her to wear. The 2 star is because the stitching it all kinds of messed up. I attached one picture, but there are several spots like that on the hat. The quality is overall poor. I'm not returning it because I need it asap. It'll wind up being a back up hat for her.

I love this for my almost 4 month old my husband always laughs when he has it on he is soo cute ! A lot of moms have asked me where I got it and I definitely send them here! Unlike some baby hats on the market that have the drawstring in the back to adjust it this doesn’t but I just use a hair tie and it works just the same ! My son is growing fast and is in the upper percentile of his age so I know he will befitting this perfectly in a matter of weeks the fabric is stretchy but not cheap which makes me feel like it will last him a long time does well in the washing machine but I choose to hand wash and hang dry.

As an active family, I needed some good hats to protect my three boys (5,5,6) from the sun so I do not have to reapply sunblock on them as often during swimming. These hats turned out to be the perfect solution. They completely cover their heads and neck perfectly. They are made of a very light swimsuit material and the boys never complained that they were hot. They stretch quite a bit (I was able to fit in them) without losing their shape. I bought these in bright blue and I was always able to spot my kids easily at the beach and pool. A must buy!

Love this. Really light, made of swimsuit material so nice and stretchy and comfortable. Good sized peak over face and neck/shoulder coverage. Also dries really quickly for next use. Well made and good value. The peak is a little soft so can get bent easily but still does the job

Excellent product! Perfect fit and because of the lovely soft and stretchy material there is plenty of room for growth too. The toggle clip allows you to secure the hat either under the chin or behind the back of the neck. Offers great sun protection as the visor is a perfect size to shield face without affecting visibility and the long material at the back of the hat covers past the neck and shoulders. Would highly recommend.

Great, have ordered another one smaller as large was a little big for 3 year old and on the larger side for 6 year old (with a decent sized head). Look great otherwise, not tested.

Best sun swim hat I have found fits well and good quality, turned up within time stated. just wish it was here in uk so didn’t have to pay so much postage and have to wait so long for delivery.

Protects little heads and necks really well!
