Update - added a star... I have purchased two of the MUXXN Women's Audrey Hepburn Style Short Sleeve dresses. They have much more stretch than this peplum dress. The dress fits perfectly, except at the waist - a bit snug. I am 5' 3", 34D, 29 38. It seems like this dress is cut for the younger woman who still has that small, defined figure (like I used to have). I love the look, the fabric is great, but I am not sure I can keep. Will try this with a shaper to see if that helps. Anothr Update - I did wear with pantyhose. I think a shaper will help also. The dress stretched enough to wear it. I bought in two additional colors. The dress is very pretty. Sleeves are a little billowy; that does not bother me too much.

Beautiful dress! The dress is very well made. The fabric is soft with very minimum stretch. I read through the reviews which strongly suggests to order up. I am pear-shaped and wear 12/14 bottoms. I ordered a XL and it works, but if I order again in another color I will go with a 2XL. With that said, I want to serve caution to all women with full hips and and a little stomach bulge. For this particular dress and for a modest look, I suggest you order up two sizes to give you room in the trouble areas. I cosign other reviews in that the waist area runs a little tight. The peplum fabric hides the tightness in the hips so I can get away with it.

I loved the material, the dress was very well tailored and looked expensive. My only regret was that I had to return it because it was too tight. I ordered the xl, but probably should have ordered the xxlarge. I wear a size 14 and I could get it on, but the fit was tight. I do have "curves", and it was hugging especially in the rear area. I might try another size in a different color as I did go ahead and order another black dress by MUXXN that fit perfectly. The return of the item was very easy as I dropped it off at UPS close by with the scanned label provided and same day I did that I got the return back to my card.

I love the vintage feel of the garment. The color was beautiful. I got many compliments. However, I ordered the dress according to size chart at first in a 2x. It was a torture fit around the waist. Every place else the fit was great. So, I reordered the next size a 3x. The waist was more comfortable, but, everywhere else was a bit big. I kept the 3x for comfort sake and returned the 2x. I am 5'3 187, usually sized 14w or 16 in dresses. I ordered 5 these dresses for a group of us. Two of the 5 were returned for the next size up because tightness in the waist.. Other that that it is a lovely dress.

This its really a beautiful dress - but runs small. I'm 5'7", 160# and ordered "large" -and the fit was tight - especially around my hips. Like tight enough that you could see the outline of my underwear (and what's underneath, if you know what I mean) - maybe so obvious since the fabric is a stretchy rayon. So basically it fits like a body-suit. Again, beautifully made and very nice style but order up in size for sure. I give it a "$" because of nice styling and workmanship - but be careful re the sizing.

This dress has a very classic elegant look for the price. I love the vintage suit look. The fabric is thick enough and had enough stretch to accommodate the body hugging feature. I am 5'4" 115 pounds and purchased the small. It fits fine. I am using it for a wedding and was able to find an ombre 2 toned pump that is burgundy into black with a black clutch purse. This is borderline a little tighter than I normally like through the thigh area, but I like the overall look enough to wear it.

I am really picky. This dress arrived on time and unfortunately did not fit me. It is not the sellers fault, I should have measured a bit more. I figured I had ordered a large enough size. They do run smaller and I am big busted.I was very gentle trying on and saw it would not go over so I took it off right away at work where it was shipped.The quality however is NOT cheap or see through. It does stretch, it does hug the figure, it does look like the color shown for the blue. I do regret it did not fit. I may have my husband measure me and purchase again ..it was for a wedding and I had to do another option as time did not permit another order. I would highly recommend and it the garment had no weird smells or anything
