Best bandages I've tried
I've used a variety of manuka honey bandages over the years, and these have been the best so far. The bandages stay on, they're a good size, and there is minimal honey leakage. I fell across the pavement last week, and my wounds have already healed tremendously in just 1 week, using these bandages.

Amazing product
In taking care of my mother's foot ulcer, this product worked wonders along with a product from this same company L-Mesitran Soft gel. Having a chronic non-healing diabetic foot ulcer is very challenging, especially - when medical professionals determined that the ulcer may not heal and amputation was the ultimate course of action. Well, those are words that no one wants to hear. In doing much research, I determined that I must try something. I came across this product L-Mesitran Tulle, in combination with debriding (at home) and the L-Mesitran Soft, I was seeing positive results (less slough) and new skin growth. Months later, we are almost at closure/healing with the wound and I truly believe that if I did not use this product - we would not have seen the healing of her ulcer. Thank you for making such wonderful products.

Big enough to cover the wound
The product is big enough to cover most of the wound, but I really need two to do the whole job. It took too long to arrive, so I had to improvise when changing bandaging twice before getting your product. Also, it would be better to have an adhesive edge so I don't then have to add tape.

Excellent!
Positively loved these! Didn't have the same problem using as the other reviewer. They apply like any other water proof bandage I've used. You peel off one side, apply, then peel off the back that gave it structure during application. I have very sensitive skin and when I take off a bandage, the burn-like wound that gets left behind from the adhesive is worse than the cut. I had to use a bandage to cover stitches. These came off like they had never been there, and it was in a sensitive skin area, which makes me even more of a fan. The only problem I had I did myself. I moisturized around the area and didn't dry it well enough. That's the only bandage I wasted, and it wouldn't have happened if I had applied it properly. And for the price compared to regular bandages, I will buy these as my bandages from now on.

Difficult to use because of peel-off backing on both sides
I do believe my horse's chronically-infected wound improved with the L-Mesitran Hydro Dressing, but I found it difficult to handle and confusing to start. The product has peel-off backing on both sides, with no description of which side should go against the wound (I read the 12,000-word instructions in as many languages as I could understand). I wasted the first two pads trying to figure out which side was the gel. I decided on the shiny side, and I think I was correct because I found gel in the granulated tissue when I went to change the dressing.Once I got a side against the wound, I had to struggle to get hold of the other side's backing to peel it off. As I fumbled to grab a corner of the backing, it slid and flipped around, re-exposing the previously-sterile wound environment to all kinds of contaminants. (That was AFTER I wasted two pads.)When I finally got the dressing in place, it did not adhere to the skin, and it was so stiff that it didn't bend to the curve of his skin either, so I had to hold it in place whilst trying to wrap the gauze around his tail.I imagine in a sterile environment, where you have all the tools and assistance necessary to dress a wound, this dressing would be great, because it does appear to aid in the healing process. For my purposes, it was a little too hard to handle.

They work great!
I had a basal cell Carcinoma removed off my back, near my bra strap. It quickly became red, inflamed, infected. Still after the Doctor took the stitches out and super glued me shut, there was infection. 10 days of antibiotics later, still problems so I bought a pack of these and changed them every 3 days. Turns out, I was reacting to the dissolvable sutures. As soon as the Dr cut those out, the ulcer began to close. I honestly feel I would have been so much worse off with out these bandages. They pulled all the infection out of the ulcer that had formed around the sutures. I highly recommend them.
