The concept of “shower steamers” is new to me, but it apparently it is a rebranding effort for the old fashioned “bath bomb” designed to toss into a tub for a scented soak. So few of us have time for long tub times that it seems sensible to take an existing luxury product and sell it as a scent bomb that will emit lavender aroma as it slowly dissolves while showering. At $10 per pop, it had better dissolve very slowly indeed! I’m gifting this to a beloved, hardworking niece who needs a lot of incentive to relax and pamper herself, and I hope the thought of a lavishly scented shower is appealing, since she deserves it. It’s unlikely I’d spend this much on myself, I’ll admit.

This is WAY overpriced! I used it in the shower and it dissolves very quickly and you can barely smell it.

In a nutshell these four, heart-shaped bombs are:Beautifully boxed/packaged.These easily dissolve without leaving a lot of residue (although some of these contain pressed flowers).These smell great. They are lavender scented.These contain NO preservatives.All natural ingredients.They are cruelty, paraben and SLS free.Are made in the USA.Work great in the bath, but just as well in the shower.The packaging indicates that this product can also be used as a foot soak.Lizush creed - Soak me. And that is exactly what I plan to do.They would make the perfect gift (i.e., birthday, Mother’s Day, just because) for someone you like or love.My only hesitation in giving this product 5 stars is the price. I know and understand that bath products are expensive, but these 4 costs $40, which accounts for $10 each. That seems a little pricey. 4.5 stars.

These came in a giftable box. All the hearts were intact. What most impacted was the extremely strong lavender scent. I personally find it overwhelming. I was going to gift this but now I'm certain that the scent is age appropriate for the person I had in mind. Lavender is usually a scent meant soothe but due the overpowering scent it might be offensive. It's weird to say that it's too strong as most people would complain about a lack of scent in items of this sort. I believe in balance and as the old saying goes too much of a good thing...
