I bought this for my daughter to use whilst at home for summers they are good books teaching curriculum she is currently learning

Great for taking out when going to restaurants. Keeps the kids happy while they're learning too!Covers all relevant areas in an easy to learn way.

I love any type of home learning book that supports the national curriculum and enables me to support my little one at home in his learning journey. This one is aimed at 5-7year olds and though I think there is some early work that could be completed at the lower end, this certainly will need some support until much older as the activities progress.Aimed to be complete in conjunction with parental support, this guide takes you through step by step and builds on knowledge and skills to complete a story from sentence construction, to character development to editing and proof reading. Each topic covered is clear with instructions/examples then questions to support learning and understanding as well as some parental tips for helping build confidence in the topic explored.I like that this home learning support is relevant and supportive to both child and parent alike and would certainly recommend the series from what I have seen so far.

Good book for kids. Five star

This is a great little book to help children write really, and how to write stories, it has little pictures in and empty little blocks where the children write about the picture they see and what's happening. There are pages on how to form sentences, where to put commas, question marks and full stops etc. A section describing nouns verbs, adjectives etc and where to use them with nice illustrated picture to help them, how to write the start middle and end of stories. Problem solving pages and how to edit their writing. There are 30 little stars printed on the front page and the children mark off on each star how far they have come in the book. Really helpful book and easy to explain to 6 year olds, I would say 5 is a little young but depends on the child. Great helpful book.
