We are having a new roof installed and old nails everywhere! The installer went over our driveways and paths with their own magnet catcher and after they had left, I tried this item and it caught many nails and pieces of metal. Very easy to use. Very powerful and the nails clearly snap onto the magnet. Over the grass areas, I gently hovered 3" above the grass, as I went along and it grabbed many old nails. On the pathways, it was powerful enough to snap up nails laying inside the paving joints. very satisfying!We have very large driveways and after a while, one of the wheels had slightly over-tightened itself and was dragging. I simply rotated the item 180 degrees (so the left wheel was now on the right), so the tight wheel was being reversed and all was well. I absolutely recommend this item.

This thing did a great job picking up nails after I removed the siding. My kids found over 200 nails today and had fun doing it. It's not going to last forever, but it's easy to use and is going to last at least until the siding project is done. Worth every penny to keep from getting a nail in the foot and a trip to the ER.

There are a lot of people complaining about this thing, but it works fine. It's short, but so am I. Tall people may have some trouble with the length. The magnet seems plenty strong and the wheels stayed on. It found nails, screws, and staples both on the cement and in a grassy dirt patch nearby. For $20, it did what I needed it to do.... which is clean up after a bonehead handyman who can't keep track of his sharp hardware.

Used it after getting my roof replaced. The roofers did a few walk through picking up dropped screws and nails. I bought this and dedicated an entire afternoon to pick up many nails from the yard around the house. The magnet is extremely strong.

The media could not be loaded. Great tool to keep around the shop. I'm 6 ft tall and handle length is at a perfect length that I do not need to bend over to use. Has an eyelet on the end of handle makes it easy to hang for storage. Is perfect tool for when you drop that box of nails. It pics them up with ease. With its smooth surface makes it easy to clean and is durable and designed at the perfect height to pick up any metallic of your flooring. Seems it's durability will make the product last for many years

The magnet picks up all sorts of metal object and works great. The handle needs some major improvements. The handle comes in two pieces and is held in place with a winged bolt. It's made to telescope down for transport but you really don't need to do that once you have to assembled. The bolt that is attached to the end of the handle is crimped in and it comes loose after you use it. I had to band it with a hammer to keep the bolt from turning while using it. The wheels bolts will start to back off if you use it alot. I recommend putting some lock-tite on them to keep that from happening. I did notice that when after you pick up something and you want to pick it off the magnet your hand will want to slide up the handle to make it easy to get to. Your hand will slide right into the winged bolt where the handle comes together. If they would have made the handle where they screw together that would be great.

I bought this when I was cleaning out an old garage. It sorted out all of the bits saving my back, feet, and car tires. And, I got to quit cussing the "relative" who let it all get in to such a mess to start with! It's strong enough to get the kind of debris I had without being so big I couldn't get it under the workbench, etc. The handle does try to unscrew itself unless really tightened down. I added a rubber washer which helped.

Had roofing/gutter replacement done and kept finding staples and nails on my sidewal/driveway/lawn after. Grabbed this because of the LOW PRICE. Easy to use and telescoping handle extends to a good length. Note - This tool is more intended for a garage or shop use with the small wheels, as it has trouble over grass at times. (LOOKUP MAGNET RAKE for LAWNS) Anyways, after several "Sweeps" of my lawn, the handle kept coming loose and needed to be retightened to the magnet/wheeled section. Again, this sweeper IS NOT intended for lawns/grass really , but hey, it was cheap and did the job - checkout the pics of what was it actually picked up. Glad I used this BEFORE I mowed the lawn!
