Mandala Crafts Blinds String, Lift Cord Replacement from Braided Nylon for RVs, Windows, Shades, and Rollers (0.8mm, Oak)

The cord on my blinds had frayed and finally broken. This cord fit perfectly and was so easy to install. I also got enough on he roll to repair other blinds in the house if needed. Great for DIY repairs.

I was worried at first but it worked so very good I hope it last for a long time because it was really hard to put it back up. But very happy

Quantity was great, quality was good till I hit a spot where they bonded two lengths together. This created a thicker section that would not run through the guides. Had to cut out and restring a whole section of cord.

OE top down/bottom up shade string broke on camper. This is perfect replacement string to restring that. I just YouTubed it...very easy to do, and WAY cheaper than buying a new one. Keeping unused roll in camper for the next break.

I used this to replace the tilting strings on a vintage set of 8-ft wide, 5-ft tall 2-inch aluminum blinds. I worried that since I was replacing a much thicker rope that the mechanism would be compromised. It works better than it did with the polished cotton rope from the 70s!The lifting mechanism's rope is beginning to fail. It is a much more involved replacement, but I am confident this will be up to the task of lifting so much weight.

Ordered 1MM size. By my measurements, I'd be generous in calling this 0.9mm - that's with every effort to not stretch, flatten, and not crowd the wraps. (9mm divided by 10x wraps = 0.9mm. Wrapping 10x helps provide a more accurate measurement.)Quality seems okay from what I can tell, but it won't work for my needs because it's the wrong size.

Good cord for accordian style window shades. I used it to restring and fix the shades in a conversion van. If you use it you'll want to use a lighter to melt any cut ends to stop them from fraying. Plenty of cord on a spool. Works well and looks great!

Doing what it's supposed to. Seems strong and has not snapped, though it feels thin and gives me the sense of not being strong enough - but I have no evidence to support that.

This braided nylon cord worked perfectly to restring my wooden blinds.

String is slightly stretchy so feels 'springy' when pulled unlike the original string which had no stretch.

Cord is fine but it took a very long time to get here.
