Cinderella (Once Upon a World) Board book – September 13, 2016

Reader friendly. I bought this book for a Read Aloud lesson.

This book is a definite favorite of my three-year-old daughter. The illustrations are beautiful, colorful, and distinctly Mexican. The story is the full Cinderella tale, but in just enough words to hold the attention of a toddler. I love that the wording is diverse. I know that I am introducing my daughter to more vocabulary every time we read it (and we read this one almost daily). The board book format is sturdy and just the right size for small hands. I look forward to future titles in this series.

This is an incredible version of the Cinderella I grew up with. I love the way the story is told and the colors and pictures are beautifully done! The small tweaks to the story are awesome, like how the prince knows it's Cinderella even without the shoes. I would and do recommend this everyone! Also the movie the book of life!

As a little girl, I've always loved Cinderella so I was so happy when I saw this new version. I was a little disappointed when there was no mention of Gus and the other mouse and animals. They were my favorite when I was young. However, I loved how colorful the graphics are and because the book is study, this is perfect for my 2 year old bookworm. Definitely a must have for someone whose building a library for their little ones.

I love fairytales and princess stories. Cinderella was one of my faves when i was young so to see the illustrations interpreted into Mexican Cinderella is really special and exciting.

Absolutely gorgeous illustrations but I'm not sure why the PC changes (the change in feet size for example). Cinderella had delicate little feet - why change that??? Otherwise, my daughter and I enjoy this book very much and the fact that it features a Mexican Cinderella.

This was a Christmas gift for our baby girl. It was great to find a traditional fairy tale story with a princess that looks just like her. Her older brothers enjoy it too. The art is awesome with lots of vibrant colors.
