The answer is "Yes" It CAN, It DOES and It Will do what it says! Over and Over
I purchased these bags to use in my FoodSaver 4840. First things first. These rolls will NOT fit in the Foodsaver 4840 model. Not because it is to wide but because the roll is to thick. As for other models I cannot say. This does not bother me as I am more concerned with how well the product performs. After you have used it awhile it will fit in the 4840 enough about that.I use my Foodsaver for many different things. I make homemade bacon, sausage, etc. I just bagged 37 bags of homemade maple cured bacon. This bacon takes time and isn't necessarily cheap to do. I want to put my bacon in a food storage bag that I can trust. I package all of my meats in these and never once have I worried about their ability to do their job. These bags are strong coming in at 4mills (that is strong considering I seal crawlspaces at 6mil). I have used a lot of these bags and have never had one not seal. If you do have one that doesn't want to seal I can pretty much assure you that it is something that you are doing wrong.FoodSaver bags cost way to much for what they are. You are not sacrificing quality if that is something that you are worrying about. I would put these up against any other brand out there. There are a ton of uses for these bags but that is not what this review is for. What you need to know is do they work? Are they really any good at that price point? Will they last? The answer to all of your questions is "YES." They really are a GOOD bag! in fact you can even call them GREAT! (they are not magical) They will do what you want them to do at a what I think is a very reasonable price. I trust them for my pretty expensive meats. Really just try them. With a 3 Month Guarantee you can't go wrong.Yes, I did. I paid full price for this item. And I’m still going to give you my fair take on how I feel about the product after I fully tested it. This I enjoy doing and I hope that I’ve helped someone come to informed purchasing decision. I am not affiliated with the seller, the manufacturer or Amazon.Edited 11/28/16Just wanted to update that I have had zero failures with this batch of 37 bags. That's also after several bags fell out of the freezer onto the concrete floor. I have more bacon, homemade sausage, venison going in now. I know this is a product that I can and will rely on for a long time to come.

I HOPE THIS WAS A BAD MANUFACTURE DATE
I started using vacuum sealer right out of the box. There was great success and everything went according to plan. After using up the bags that came with the machine we switched to the value roll package. This is when things went wrong. After spending 45 minutes accepting that I may be overlooking something, my wife had pity on me and drove to Walmart and bought replacement vacuum sealer bags. Our happy day in the kitchen commenced one again after her arrival. THIS PACKAGE OF VACUUM SEALER BAGS WOULD NEVER SEAL! I GAVE THE PRODUCT EVERY CHANCE I COULD TO DO IT'S JOB. The new bags from Walmart saved the day. We paid more because of this but the freezing project was finished as planned.I hope as you read this review you will see I gave the bags every chance to prove itself worthy. Two diffeerent sealer bags from different locations were successful in the machine. The only error I could see was this product. I hope you find this review fair and helpful

Trouble at first, found the secret for me at least
I too had trouble getting these bags to vac and seal. I tired several times then by accident I discovered the secret after again trying my old bags to confirm that the machine was in good working order. These bags seem to have a more rigid textured side. My machine at first would not complete the vacuum and seal the bag. By flipping the bag over so the smooth side was up, they vac and sealed nicely. Granted they should vacuum no matter what side is up, but only with the smooth side up in my machine. Not too much of a hassle, so I took off one start for that reason. If they do not hold the seal, I will revise this review. But OK for now.

and showed me how the sealer sucked the air out of the bag
I had ordered the Nutri-Lock bags at the same time I ordered a Geryon Vacuum Sealer. We had never had a sealer before, always just using Zip-Lock bags and trying to get as much air out as possible. My wife used both in freezing veggies from our garden, I was gone at the time. She showed me the results, telling me of the learning curve in using both the sealer and the bags, especially pre-freezing the veggies so there would be less liquid which would interrupt the sealing of the bags. Later, she had some cauliflower from the garden which she had prepared and slightly pre-frozen, and showed me how the sealer sucked the air out of the bag, then sealed it. REMARKABLE! The Nutri-Lock bags work WONDERFULLY with that sealer, and I would highly recommend to any looking to make a similar purchase to get both products.Thank you for your follow-up letter to assure that there were no problems, and to accrue feedback. It demonstrates to me that your company is one which values their customers.Sincerely, customerLakewood, Colorado

Rolls are not fifty feet
I got these bag rolls back in 2018 when I had a sealer that would cut the bags. The old machine died and the new machine I have now does not have a cutter. So I ran out of the bags that were already cut. I got out my ruler and a board and decided to cut 12 inch lengths. If the roll is fifty feet long shouldn't I get fifty 12 inch bags? The roll I cut into 12 inch lengths was still sealed, but I only got thirty-eight bags. I wonder if anyone ever decided to measure the length.

Don't bother!
The price is the key here. I bought these a month ago and finally got to use them. The bags are a little bit "slipperier" if that makes sense and the roll doesn't fit in the area meant for bags. I knew this prior to purchase.... but it is inconvenient to cut them by hand. I guess I will roll some out so they do fit. I would recommend though without question for the price alone!*****Updated Review***** These are horrible. Do NOT buy them! Here I am months later and realizing that the cheap imitations don't last. You seal your food. It looks fine/like it worked. And then either weeks or a couple months after you open your freezer to get something out and realize that the vacuum seal did not hold. I resealed at least 10 packages yesterday that I noticed had a gap/room inside. One package actually had freezer burn. So in the long run this item was DEFINITELY NOT worth it!

Great quality for the price
I bought these rolls of vacuum sealer bags because they represented much better value for money than the smaller rolls I had previously purchased. I realised I was going to get around 50% more product without having to pay any more. The bonus is the quality of the product - the quality of the material is much higher than the brand I was using before. It works really well with my Homecube vacuum sealer. Very pleased.

WOW, I could not believe that I got these bags rolls at this price ( having said that, I hope they don't go up in price ). They are strong well made bags 2 X different sizes, but handy sizes. Speedy delivery, good product, nice price. What more can you ask for ?

Terrible Customer Service.
I edited my review after contacting the company and experienced horrific terrible service. The bags work as they should but the service is terrible.

50% Unuseable.
Seems good value compared to others but then half way through the rolls they become all wrinkled and creased, making it impossible to get a good seal, especially if using domestic sealers, on my commercial sealer on extended seal setting its hit and miss.
