This is an interesting piece. It is on canvas and stretched tightly so that it can be put on a wall without being framed. The canvas stretches all I am the way around covering the sides. I am sure that Genevieve will love seeing all these different types of horses, many of which she knows about already. This picture will look lovely on her wall.

Between reviews and descriptions, I was a bit confused about what a 'Framed' print really was from this seller. I ordered the 'Framed' 12x16 piece. Really it is a canvas print, there is no frame, but it is ready to hang (vs. a paper poster).IMO, the resolution on this print is not great, not terrible, but leaves something to be desired. I'm not sure if it's because they are small, detailed images printed on canvas (textured) or if the resolution wasn't great to begin with.Lastly, 12x16 is too small for this print because there are SO many horses crammed into this small space. If you actually want to 'see' the details of each horse, it would be better on a large poster. I bought this as a gift for my niece and am considering returning it as I'm not overly impressed.

My nine-year-old granddaughter is totally into horses! She rides horses, and she collects all Schleich horses and Schleich products. This poster shows almost every horse out there, and it’s a great reference!
