I bought this just for fun as I don't camp and power is cheap enough in Santa Clara that I don't need this. However, I bought a 298 Kwh power station and it had an input port that supports a 60W solar charger and this was relatively inexpensive so I picked it up.After 2 days of about 4 hours/day in the sun, it does appear to generate 60W of power through the DC cable. The USB ports get 30W (My power bank has input power meter). I can't measure the DC power, but based on time, 60W seems to match how much charge I'm getting. I did measure the voltage and out of the sun, I saw 5V and in the sun upto 21V.So I'm pretty happy with it and so far recommend it if that's what you need.Edited the title and now adding more.I have a 2700 mAh power bank that has input/output upto 100 watts. I've confirmed it can take 100 watts. I recently connected this power bank to the solar panel in full daylight using the C port. Well, this port appears PD (power delivery) ready and actually pumps out 40 watts!!! That is more than the specification of 30 watts. When charging my Pixel phone, I'm getting 15 watts which is just all the phone is asking for at 70%. Don't know what it might want at 10% charge. So I'm more than happy with the solar panel. My power bank went from 18% to 99% charge in 2 1/2 hours. That's 81 wH of charge. Incredible.

While I cannot speak to the longevity of this product (40w version), I can speak to the size, weight, and charging ability. I just spent a week in the Boundary Waters with scouts and I must travel with a CPAP. We canoed about 9 miles in a day to reach our campsite with about 9 portages. I had this panel strapped neatly under the canoe seat with some dealy-bobs.I run my CPAP off a 40k/mAh battery (generic) that has a 15v/2amp charge port. Most panels available only have USB (5v) outputs, whereas this panel has USB 5V as well as DC 15V output. I compared a 'well-known' portable panel with it's proprietary connections, that weighed more, and cost roughly $200 more than this. After purchasing this and testing it for a couple weeks before my trip, I put it to the test. On a bright sunny day, my battery goes from 0 to 100% in about 5 hours which actually seems faster than using the AC adapter - I have yet to do a timed test. Weight for a 40w panel was great, especially with the additional weight of the battery and CPAP - I needed something that could charge as much as I needed but still be portable. Size, while I could have fit the panel in my 85L backpack, I had too much other gear for a week-long trip and decided strapping it under the seat as the best mode of transportation.Bottom-line, after charging my battery and the rest of the leaders' and scouts' electronic devices on the trip for a week, this is well worth the money! I also appreciated the DC plug adapters which I needed for charging the battery and CPAP (to the battery). I would highly recommend upgrading the provided DC cable as 22 gauge just wasn't robust enough to handle the power effectively. I went with an 18 gauge charge cable.

I have had this for several years as an emergency backup to charge my 240wh Jackery power bank. When in full sun in the Southern US in the summer with the legs deployed I get about 45 Watts (I bought the one that is rated for 60). This might improve with some fiddling with angle etc. Charges the Jackery in 6 hours or so from zero (might be a bit more than that, I wasn't keeping that close track) and comes with a bunch of adapter plugs. It folds up into a nice compact form factor for carrying. I recommend this solar panel!

I like charging my phone and battery phone charger it's overall good having trouble with tree in the way but it still charges slowly through my windows I plan on buying another solar panel I bought with 300 watt generator and 100 watt generator but lately I've been trying to only charge my phone and battery charger through solar panels because of the clouds ⛅️ and it still charges just slower needs patience which I have when I buy another panel I'll put it in another window for overall charge because I have windows facing morning and evening sun so I plan on another
