S500 (S500 Carbon)

I love this frame! I had built an F450 frame but wanted something a little sleeker and compact. This s500 frame is the ticket. Sleek and more compact. It makes for a more challenging build to neatly tuck away all of your components, but that’s what I like. The price was the lowest I could find for this frame on Amazon and I do a lot of shopping around. Customer service is great as the owner followed up to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. I recently purchased some emax ls2206 motors for another build from the same shop because the pricing was great. I’ll review those motors in a later post.Happy Flying!

Love this frame! Decided to "go big" (ish) for my first drone build, and I can't be happier with this frame!The quality is great, and if you have a 3d printer there are dozens of repairs/mods available for these frames, just search Thingiverse for "S500 quad" and eat your heart out.Would buy again, definitely glad I went went the carbon fiber feet. It does make landing in grass a bit harder than regular feet.. but that's more of an issue on where I fly, not the design. :)

This is a fantastic frame. It's very sturdy, and has enough room to fit whatever you plan on putting on it. The landing gear aren't the studiest, but they'll hold the quad in even the worst landings. The arms are surprisingly robust, even for being plastic. My one complaint is that there aren't any proper mounts for smaller flight controllers (30x30mm board).

It has a good layout with lots of space to mount all your electronics.

Works good. It was a little too tall. I shortened the down tube for the leg by a inch. How it is just the right high.

I bought this frame for my second build; the first of this size.This frame is very solid and well balanced. The materials are quality and feel good all around.I like that the power distribution is incorporated in the body. This helps cut costs by a little and makes things a little cleaner.Overall I am very happy with this and feel it will fly well for a long time.

Great frame kit. Integrated PDB works great. Strong and everything fits well. Next they need an option to raise and lower landing gear.
