Universal Dishwasher Drain Hose - 10 Ft Discharge Hose - Corrugated and Flexible Dishwasher Hose Drain Replacement with Clamp

This universal drain hose is a perfect fit for my tiny Faberware countertop dishwasher. I had to trim the connector, and a sharp kitchen paring knife did the job just fine for that. The included hose clamp was a little stiff to tighten, but with just a little persistence it worked out fine. This is a perfect replacement for the original, brittle drain hose which had developed cracks.

I was nervous about ordering a universal product that was about 18" longer than my original hose but the ends looked like a match and I could get this hose in 2 days versus 2 weeks for the factory replacement part so I decided to give it a try. The part came promptly. The hose was a little longer than my original hose but installed without any problems. It seems like a quality hose and I expect it will stand up to normal use for an extended period of time. I also saved about 75% of the cost of the OEM part. Very happy with this purchase.

Fit and works

I HAD TO SOAK THE END IN A PAN OF BOILING WATER TO GET IT ON A KITCHENAID DISHWASHER. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE LARGER THAN THE ONES AVAILABLE AT THE STORE BUT IT WASN'T.

Great quality product, great seller

I purchased this because the drain hose for my dishwasher snapped because it was too brittle from years of use. The original hose connected from the drain of the dishwasher to my disposal. I bought this thinking I would have to replace the whole hose. I ended up realizing after removing the dishwasher that the drain hose itself wasn't the issue, it was the extension hose that connected to the drain hose.So after receiving this item and realizing I needed an extension hose, I mulled returning the item. As an extension it wouldn't fit into the original drain hose --- OR WOULD IT? Turns out that this hose allows you to cut the end, and it will reduce the size to 5/8ths which was just enough to fit into the original drain hose, and clamp it. The other end with the elbow joint fit directly into the disposal and I was able to tighten it securely. No leaks on either side, and the dishwasher is draining like new.Having an extra elbow joint actually worked out in our favor because the original drain hose snapped because it was too tight underneath the sink, and the elbow joint connected easily and required less room. Definitely worth the buy if you know what you're looking for.

The item was great and arrived quickly. After ordering but before this hose arrived, we discovered that a hose had been provided with the appliance and was sort of "hidden" within it, so we didn't need it.
