Washburn RX Series RX12MGY Electric Guitar

I bought this guitar for Rocksmith and general learning to play. It works fantastic for my purposes.I was concerned about ordering a guitar online but the box it was shipped in was very protective. Everything was in good shape, no scratches. I suspect the strings included are low quality. Mine broke after just 4 days of use but I had extras. No biggie.Guitar looks great, sounds great, holds tune well. Not a even a smidge of regret in my decision to purchase it.If something happens to mine I am going to continue to own Washburns based on the quality of this one.Edit: After 6 months of playing this guitar, I still play it every day. It continues to hold a great tune and sound wonderful. I often unplug it and just play acoustically at my computer. I'm dreaming about other guitars but I just can't put this one down yet. I'm kind of getting away from Rocksmith because I've been spending an obscene amount of money on song packs when I prefer tabs at this point.

Got the guitar today, it actually came a day early which is nice. It came fairly well packaged as well. I played around on it sounds pretty good, it's mainly getting used for rocksmith. So far it also seems to hold a tune quite well which is very nice for a cheaper guitar. Also something that mine came with that was not stated or shown in the picture, mine came with a tremelo bridge I think it's called aka whammy bar. Not sure how much I will use it, but its a nice extra feature. I will probably make an update to this review as I play around on it some more.

My Washburn is probably the greatest guitar for the price! The weird grey color is pretty original and it pops. The sound is good and the weight is decent. Keeps tuning well. Decent humbuckers that come with it; could be a little better for squeals but not bad. For 150 or 200 bucks or whatever it was, it's a steal!

I was amazed and power defined sound, the color is very nice, the guitar is very comfortable and the weight is manageable. I made another good deal with you.

I saw this guitar doing some research on Amazon (although I did buy it $20 cheaper on another site) and was intrigued by the good reviews. I was looking for an inexpensive brand name electric to learn electric guitar. I'm not a snob about having "the best" guitars, but I'm also a 35 year veteran of acoustic guitars so I'm not totally naive (I also own an Alvarez 12-string and a Fender T-Bucket acoustic/electric). For my purposes, this is a great guitar, especially for less than $150. It's easy to play and sounds great. It also looks really nice and, hey, it's a Washburn! I highly recommend it.
