Easy to tear out pages. Great variety in options of landscape, animals, people, buildings. Both thin & thick markers needed.

First off I had to deduct a star because the paper in these coloring books is NOT THICK even though it is advertised as thick. It is as thick as normal copier paper and I don't consider that thick. Knowing this you will know that unless you copy the picture onto thicker paper like card stock or watercolor paper, you will be restricted to colored pencils or possibly gel pens with a heavy sheet behind the picture you are doing to prevent bleed through.Yoga book: In my opinion, the best of the bunch. Great designs with lots of detail and very fun to color. Each picture is understandable with clear designs and on one side of page only.Rainforest: Very cute designs and all are readily understandable with no weird designs you can't figure out. The designs are fun, but clearly aimed more at a youngster than an adult. An adult will could have fun with this book, but be aware that the designs are rather childish and not terribly detailed. I like it, but a twelve year old would love it.The one with a world travel theme: This one is the disappointment, sadly. There are objects in some of the designs that are hard to figure out as to exactly what the heck it is. So that leaves you unsure how to color it. It also may spoil the rest of the picture. The picture on the front of the book is NOT included in the coloring book. Several of the pictures are simple beach scenes with flip flops and assorted summer themed objects. I was not thrilled with that as it seemed like " filler " rather than world travel unless any old beach scene reminds you of world travel?The pages in all books are perforated and many if not most of the designs go right into the spine of the book so that bit of the picture will go right over the perforation which shows a lack of good planning in putting these books together.Bottom line, for what I paid, I will gift these to a young teen or pre-teen in my family as they will surely enjoy this set without the critical eye of an adult colorist.
