What Labs Teach Us: Life's Lessons Learned from Labrador Retrievers

Common sense rules - but put with images of things you can easily relate to.I grew up with Labs and we now have two. I have never experienced any other breed-and I've been around and owned a lot of dogs-that even comes close to the companionship of a lab. We have 2 girls now, a black and a blonde that's almost white. They love to go in canoe rides, they HATE to be without human contact - they follow my wife room to room during the day and they give UNCONDITIONAL LOVE to any of our family when we come in the door.It's fun, the photograghs are really well done, and I can't imagine any lab owner who wouldn't love it it for themselves or as a gift.

This was just so much fun to read. I have a black lab named Toby and she is the light of my life. The pictures were cute, serious, but most of the time just down right funny. It was fun to read what was written on each page and really made you think about life and how much more joyful it is to have a Labrador or to just have a dog in your life. They bring so much love and companionship to us all and this book just brings that out and makes you feel so blessed to have your best friend in your life. I would highly recommend this book to everyone and also to keep it and read it often.

Relevant life lessons that aren't cheesy "self help" quotes, paired up with related pictures of Labradors. What's not to like?! Lab lovers will really enjoy this book, and might just discover a poignant lesson or two in the process.

This is a great coffee-table book, or a stocking filler for a dog-lover. It's very uplifting; the pictures are really the book, but the captions about life are comical and pithy. Definitely recommend as a gift, or for yourself.

The book is so small, smaller than a children's book!! And there isn't as many pages as the website says. I should of looked at the measurements before I bought it but I figured for that price I would be getting a nice sized book. Boy was I wrong. Nice pictures but I didn't even read it I sent it back.

It would be the best coffee table book for Lab owners IF it were a lot larger. It's very small.The pictures are great, the writing is cute.Love the content, don't know about the form factor.

This is a cute book, but is much smaller, size and content- than I had anticipated. However, if you love labs, you'll at least enjoy it.

Loved this little book. If you love dogs, especially Labs, you will love it too. Give one to someone you know who needs a smile. Truths we should all live by.
