Out of nowhere, my husband developed a hammer toe which caused him considerable pain and rubbed inside every pair of shoes he owned. We tried the clear plastic type of individual toe wraps but these did not prevent his toe from hitting the top of his shoe. These toe splints are perfect; they keep that wayward toe in place and protect it from rubbing. They last a very long time, wash easily, and dry almost instantly (he even wears it in the shower and washed it during that daily ritual). Happy husband/happy wife!

These are mainly helpful in cushioning the hammer toes I have which is a good effect (similar to basic cushions). They don't seem to "correct" the hammer toe curvature over time.

I am not sure what wearing this does. The doctor told me to but they are not doing anything that I see

Too long for my toes and hurt. I wasn't going to trim to fit as it hurt so badly, I knew I had to return them anyway. Also twisted and kept rubbing. Not the answer!

Work s very well for “buddy wrapping” much easier than using tape!!! Took just a little practice with getting it around the broken one
