Super cool idea, but not ready for market. Waiting for version 2.
I purchased these because I saw a favorable review on Youtube.First, the concept behind these is very very cool, it just needs go through a few more updates and refinements. The music sound quality is just okay... in my opinion. I didn't notice any difference between these and my regular plug in headphones that came stock with my iPhone.I made a phone call to a friend and he said that I sounded excellent on his end, so that's a plus for phone calls. Now for the negatives and the reason I'm going to return these, and wait for them to improve the product.1). The price is too high for their functionality.2). If you touch them to adjust the position in your ear, you will change the settings and initiate functions, which I found to be a severe design flaw.3). The audio quality is just okay... my other cheaper headsets sound significantly better, in my opinion.3). The bluetooth connection is awful. I literally had to hold the phone the entire time I used these. If I put the phone in my pocket or even switched it to my left hand the connection would cut out and get choppy... how they released these with that problem is beyond me.4). They take a really long time to charge.5). They claim 4 hours of use, but mine dropped from 100% to 49% after just 55 minutes.6). You have to open the app on your phone constantly to make adjustments to change settings - I suppose there's not really a way around this but I found it to be too much hassle.7). Anytime I made an adjustment or change in the app it would pause playback. I can't control audio / iTunes functions from inside the app. I found myself doing a lot of app switching... too much messing around to get these to work. I just want to listen to music and go about my chores.8). The play back of surrounding noise has a bit of an echo to it. It wasn't annoying or even unpleasant... but it just didn't sound as refined and crisp as I'd expect for something in this price range. All in these are super cool... I just don't think they are ready for market yet, at least not at $299.

Ear Savers
First off, I have meniere's disease which is basically tinnitus and vertigo mixed together. My right ear is real sensitive to noise and going to restaurants was a chore. I had to put cotton in my ears to survive a lunch or dinner. One day, I ran across a pair of earphones that could help with noise cancellation and speech enhancement. The price started at $300 but this wasn't a big deal to me because I'm trying to save what I habe left of my hearing but if you're just looking for nice headphones then there are other options. These are well worth the price if you're looking for super ears. The phone audio quality is superb. No one even knows that I'm talking to them with earphones and that wasn't the case with my old headphones.Music audio is also great. Probably not enough bass for audiophiles but I think they will be satisfied with these IQ Buds.Battery life is the best in it's class at 4 and half hours where others are about 2 hours. You get four more charges with the case it comes with. Also, you can get at least, 25% to 30% battery life by just leaving them on the charger case for 15 minutes. The app takes some getting use to. I had these for a month and just figured everything out. These are great in loud places. You can quiet down crowds not at 100% but more around 80% which is huge at least, for me. You could amplify voices so you don't have to strain to hear when there is ruckus around you. You could listen to music while taking a walk and still hear everything around you which was not the case with my old headphones. The one bad thing about these is the Bluetooth connection. I kid you not, if you place your phone in your right pants pocket then the earphones will disconnect. You have to place phone in your left pocket. Also, if you veer just a feet away then the sound will get choppy. I think this could be fixed with an update or I hope it will be.All in all great product.

IQ Buds
I used this product for listening to my surroundings whilst going out. I liked the various filters on the device which allowed me to let environmental sounds come through while I was listening to music, so I was aware of what was going on around in my environmental space, it does a good job of amplifying sounds and gives me control of that’s.What I didn’t like about this was the issue I had with charging, after each use I would place these in the charging case only for them not to be charged when I would next use them also both earbuds needed to be in to be able to use them.

Sadly did not charge
I cannot give a proper review as the earbuds would not charge.I think due to the internal circuit board needing a certain amount of voltage in order to operate and to charge and having been on the shelf for long enough for the voltage in the battery to fall below operating levels and effectively killing the buds before they could be used but was given a full refund.A pity as I had seen very positive reviews of the technology.Hopefully others will be luckier and have newer stock.

Shocking build quality
Connecting can be a bit fiddly but once connected they work okay. But be aware that mine have started to come apart which means charging is now a pain. It started within a year but because of traveling I wasn’t able to return for an exchange/refund. To be honest I didn’t expect that these days.I have asked Nuheara to suggest a repair, but so far their advice is to buy a new pair...I won’t be doing that.

Pathetic!
Difficult to charge and from where I'm sitting all but impossible to pair - quite useless straight out of the box! I returned mine for a refund. Buyers beware!

Buds did not charge
The case charges but the buds do not. It was like this on arrival. The case lights indicate that the case is charged but never once go on to indicate anything about the buds.Successfully returned.
