More expensive than the cardboard banker boxes but 100 times more sturdy. You can easily slide file folders on the built in glides. These are stackable (no matter how much is/isn't in them) and they don't fall over. The boxes can be used over and over again. Yes, I will buy again

I wanted to replace three old, small file boxes with one more attractive piece, and decided to go with a clear file box and colorful file folders as a more affordable alternative to a file cabinet. I am so pleased with my decision and this particular file box! It was cheaper than several other brands and had Prime shipping. It was packaged securely in a box, and the label was easily removed, so I didn't have the problems some earlier purchasers experienced. The file box is very sturdy, and the lid snaps on tight. I can pick it up and carry it around without risking the lid falling off and the contents spilling. Hanging file folders, tab folders, and two pocket folders fit inside perfectly. I was able to fit all my important documents inside, and I love how quickly I can find what I'm looking for now. I highly recommend this product instead of a more expensive brand!

Ideal for storing tax records. Light weight and stackable.

I was looking for a storage solution to store my hanging folders for a long time, and this is by far the best one I've found! It's large, fits hanging folders perfectly (I got the Amazon Basics hanging folder which are the best size!), has a lid that actually stays on, and is made of plastic so it's more durable than the cardboard storage solutions I've seen before.My only issue is that I will be transporting these boxes a lot, and I don't think these will withstand a lot of travel. While they're made of plastic, it's not very heavy and I believe it could be punctured fairly easily. And while the lid does stay on, it doesn't have a latch or anything (it just snaps on top), and I think it would fall off if it moved a lot during transportation. But they're fairly inexpensive for the quality, so I'll just buy more if they conk out on me. BUT if you're just looking for something to store papers at home or in an office, these are the best boxes by FAR!

I bought two of these boxes with the suggested Amazon Basics acqua hanging folders. I used one box to store tax records, and the other for books and other literature. I couldn't be happier with these. They arrived in perfect condition; no scratches or any other defect/damage. The boxes are light, and yet seem sturdy. It is easy to see the contents. Had the plastic been a little more sheer, that would be ideal, but no deal breaker. What's more, the boxes are easy to close, open, and lift. I am really happy with them and if the need ever arises, I will buy the same kind.
