The efficacy of this type of purchase is difficult to gauge in a short time. Humans are notoriously deficient in both potassium and now iodine. Modern cooks are leaning towards sea salt and Himalayan salts for cooking which are not iodine enriched. This helps solve their problem by reducing thyroid issues. There are other reasons to have in on hand. I am not a fan of thinking about the potential use of nuclear weapons but this will serve a dual purpose if that happens. Iodine is absorbed into the body in place of radiation and will help your thyroid reject radiation absorption by replacing it with neutral iodine. Your thyroid gland is very susceptible to radiation damage and cancers caused from it.

The front label is made to easily mislead the reader. It infers there are 140 tablets of 130mg. that IS NOT THE CASE.It says "130mg" (with "per serving") below it.It says "140 tablets"However, the pills are actually only 65MG. When you see the back of the bottle it says "servings per container: 70".Just beware.
