JNYLLN Adjustable Circle Drawing Tool, Stainless Steel + Aluminum Alloy Round Circle Template Ruler Plotting Compass for Drafting

I built a lumen tester sphere, and needed something for adjusting the inlet hole for different sized flashlights instead of using paper cutouts to fit over a large hole. I made the hole in the sphere just a bit larger to fit this circle maker, and it works awesome to be able to quickly make the correct sized hole for testing different sized flashlights - I love it. A lot of people say it fails or falls apart, but it could be because they are using it only for drawing, so I can't speak intelligently about that (but just from my experience with it, this is very well made so not quite sure what they are using it for), but for what I needed it for - it is absolutely amazing...This is surprisingly well made, and it also has screws, so I am sure that any issue that would arise should be easily resolved by carefully taking it apart. I haven't had to do that, so can't speak 100% for sure on that - it is just a thought :).

I was not able to form a circle when I tried it 1st time. Then the product fell apart and two screws got loosened. There is no instruction how to use it. Other related videos by other manufacturers only show how it works. Pretty simple to follow but it's not the case for this product. Thankfully I returned and Amazon issued refund right away.

I take a lot of pride in the precision of my workshop toys and gadgets. I’ve always had to use a plastic template which only helped in 1/8” increments. But I would be out of luck is I needed to outline a 15/32” circle. This item is infinitely variable, and is easily adjusted. Love it.

Great gadget circle maker….a compass is fine but this is fun! Making circles cant get easier…
