When heat-sealing the ends with a lighter, a couple of times I fused the outer green layer, and separately fused the inner white strands, but failed to fuse them all together so the green outer layer slipped down. I had to work it back up and re-seal.Sealing makes the end into a big blob, which I found would then not go through the plastic sliders for tent guy ropes. I solved this by rolling the blob between two flat bits of wood whilst it was still hot to make more of a pointed end.Good strong stuff, much better that the original guy ropes I had - would recommend.

The paracord has not been put through a strength test yet but looks strong. The cord appears stiff and when cut the outer sheath retracts a good 3-4mm before you blink. The outer sheath needs to be massaged back up towards the cut and held tight in order to seal the end with a flame. Watch those fingers!In normal daylight, with the naked eye, the 32 strand outer sheath looks like it could do with another strand converted to the reflective material. In the dark however it reflects adequately when a 2AA LED light is shone on it from circa 2m but I do question if there is enough material to give it significant definition in midst of a dark bleak winter at greater distances.

Easy to use Strong and ties well. Does as you would expect and more. Have not tested it to its max but happy enough and would trust it for a Prussik all day long.

We picked up this paracord for bracelet making craft. The cord is fantastic and easy to craft into all sorts of knotted wrist bands and bracelets. It’s strong but flexible and easy to use. Highly recommend
