2024 RAV4 Fog Lights
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this set for my wife’s vehicle, not a simple install as you will need a switch/harness to complete the installation, this is not a plug and play type of install. Looks great on the car, works as designed, LED lights, provide a different front look of the vehicle, I completed more of an OEM install, product works well so far. Thanks

Tricky!
Pretty difficult to install, they doesn't specify that you will need extra harness and wiring, item doesn't come with any instructions and videos in YouTube doesn't tell you wich wire to connect, just a few, but not really specific, if you don't have experience doing this installations, I don't recommend you buying this product.

These lights look amazing on my 2023 RAV4
I recently got a new 2023 RAV4 XLE that only had the plastic placeholders for the lights and I wanted lights in there, but not the factory round ones. If I was going to spend the money then I wanted something different. If your RAV4 did NOT have lights in this spot from the factory than you very likely don't have the switch or the wiring. Not to worry, if you search item B0BRS8NC5X you'll find a wiring switch set that works perfectly with these lights. I bought that and used it and it made the install and hooking up a lot easier. There are some dummy plugs in the switch panel on the left side between the steering wheel and the door. You can easily gain access to it by removing a couple screws that hold the plastic panel it's contained in and just popping the panel off. You'll be able to tell then you just squeeze a couple of retainers to pop out one of the dummy panels and that switch I referred you to will pop right in.Now as far as connecting the wiring that came with that switch, in the fuse box on the driver side of the vehicle, look at the legend on the underside of the cover and find the place where the fog light relay WOULD have been if you had one. There is a blade in one of the holes for the relay that won't be there that is hot with 12v power when the vehicle is on. Basically the fuse box was wired for the relay for those lights if you'd had that option. So you can just tap on to that and that is where you easily get the power from. The rest is just snaking those wires to the places you need to get to the lights. This will take care of wiring the driving light portion of your new lights with a factory looking switch. I'll get to the other wiring a bit later. Now, on to these lights here...There are several YT videos out there showing you how to gain access to the back side of that. It's not hard but you do have to come in from inside the wheel well. Those plastic panels mount in from the back, and once you get them popped out your lights will pop right bank into the same place. I was able to just turn the wheel fully to the left or right to get enough access without taking the wheels off.If you read the part above about the switch/wiring thing available on Amazon and got that then you can go ahead and just plug that to the plug on the light. That will take care of the driving light part. You're still going to have to wire up the DRL and turn signals. What I did for the DRL was just tap one of the headlight wires. These are low draw LEDs and the system has no problem with the tiny amount of amperage they pull so tapping wasn't an issue. I did the same with the L and R turn signals. Keep in mind if you ever have a headlight/turn signal issue Toyota very well might consider this a warranty voiding action. Proceed with that at your own risk level. Now, as far as a review on the actual lights. Like I said, they just pop right in place of the where the original lights would have gone or the plastic holder is. It was a perfect fit on my 2023 XLE.The one thing I didn't like as I mentioned before, was I feel like the actual driving light part is about useless for anything other than a general flood light, as they don't seem to be directional at all, and looking at them head on are about the brightness of your low beam LED lights. In fact, both on at the same time is blinding. I do notice they lend a slight amount of more light off to the sides, and up in the trees, but since it's not focused low and wide like an aux driving light should be, they don't seem to be adding much in that regard. Ultimately though, the factory LED headlights are so darn bright anyway, they don't honestly need driving lights to add to them. The driving light portion are super bright too. At least as bright as the headlights as well. The turn signals are even brighter than the aftermarket LED bulbs I put in my turn signals, and those were bright. People WILL see those turn signals. With everything off it just really changes the look of the front of the RAV4 and since everyone doesn't have this type it makes it a little more unique looking. I really LOVE how they look. I'm sure hoping they don't yellow over time too bad. With the lights on everything is really bright and makes the front look like a UFO at night!Again, my only real complaint is the driving light portion needs to be more low and wide in focus to be useful. I took 1 star off for this since this is a main feature of these lights. And it would be super great of the people that sell these could get with the people that make that switch/wiring setup and make a bundle out of the whole thing.
