Neat little gadget!
Our swimming pool solar warming device was cracked at the end. I was able to cut off the cracked part and install this in the remaining pipe end. Perfect solution!

Simple way to cap a drain pipe.
Needed to plug a floor drain that will occasionally back up in my garage during heavy rain. I put in a golf sim and needed to make sure the drain in this bay of the garage did not back up as it is now covered in carpet. Simple and fit as advertised.

Surprisingly effective
When I replaced my kitchen sink I went from a 2 bowl to a single bowl. The issue was how do I plug the other drain pipe without having to cut the wall back and redo the pipe. This works perfectly. No leaks. Seals great. As far as longevity tbd, but as of now I’m very impressed. Hopefully this is a permanent fix.

Does not fit 1.5 inch pipe
This plug does not expand enough to snuggly fit a 1.5 inch pipe. It can be easily extracted by hand once fully expanded.
