I assembled this kit a while back and it was cool to put together. However, when it comes to the cannons, they do not stay assembled (fall off to easily). Besides, it was missing a couple of parts to assemble the top of the antenna.

This a very hard set to put together. My son loves doing legos but could not get this one together. It also only has the instruction for the big ship.

I got this for my son's birthday! I can't wait to give it to him! I took a look at the instruction book and wow! This is a cool set! Full quality blocks and has some really neat builds! from just these ideas alone I know it will definitely spur on some creativity! 10/10 recommend for your STEM kid! I cannot wait to see what he builds with this!

Kids love it... as long as their parents are not snobbish about "brands". Some kids are snobbish about "brands" because they pick it up from their parents' behavior/attitude.
