Very Happy
Purchased used and came in great shape. It had tons of great ideas with how many of each piece needs to be cut with measurements included. The only thing I wish the projects included would be what the best tool to make the cuts would be.

Being an Amazon Prime member, you get a chance to enjoy all the benefits on amazon. I have to devote this book. Because I saw some good craft works inside the end. That will allow me to try so far. I like what I get and it's very helpful. I will recommend other people. To buy it on amazon

Good Inspiration For A Beginner - More for Kids In The Projects
I bought this book as an entry point for me to do woodworking with my husband so I could try making something on my own without frustrating my spouse in the woodshop by asking for help! The projects have drawings and pictures of the items, you will need to photocopy and enlarge the drawings as templates so unless you have a printer/copier lying around, prepare for a trip to the store. You will also need to have other equipment available for some of the projects like a fret or scroll saw (fretwork shelves, mirrors) or a lathe (candlestick holders). You could do it with hand tools such as a coping saw but with many hobby woodworkers being busy, power tools are helpful for the projects in the book.I liked more the antique and kitchen projects sections with items being more useful but so many of them were things for kids and I don't have kids! The writing style seems to be well suited if you have a child that is interested in making something that isn't a birdhouse. I'm sure with some inspiration and creativity you can turn these projects into something with a modern flair or your own artistic style.I will say that I like the Colonial Wall Shelf, the Pennysylvania Wall Cupboard, Adirondack chairs, and the Boot Jack as being things I would actually build from this book but the majority of the projects I would not. The Hooded Doll Cradle in the brown stain as they have in the picture makes it look super creepy, like a perfect Halloween decor idea if the Annabelle doll was going to be in it. But if you can see past the finishes that have been used in the projects you could lighten these up for a refreshing update that would work for your home or as gifts for others.Projects are inspired by historical pieces and folk art, if this isn't what you like in terms of styles of furnishings and decor, give this book a miss.

Would be a Five Stars, But!!!
The book has a lot of great projects, there is only one problem that I have found that is giving me lots of headaches! Each project has a denominational drawing, and for most things with straight lines that is great! The problem arises when you have a plan that has some curved designs or shapes that must be enlarged to the correct size! The diagrams give you the grid size each is based on and for people that are good are drawing that is excellent, for the other 96% of us that need to take the diagram to a print shop and have it enlarged to the correct size it is a problem! None of the diagrams give the amount you need to enlarge them to get the correct size, none of them are reduced the same amount, so you are forced to monkey with repeatedly printing off various enlargements, measuring it and then if it is not correct printing it again, and again!!!!!!! If you have some good eyes and some digital calipers you can get close by measuring the grid and then doing some figuring, but you will still have to in most cases print it 2 or 3 times even then to get to the correct measurements for the filigree or scrolling details!! I have never had a book like this that did not tell you that you needed to enlarge this diagram by this amount before till this one!

150 Woodworking Projects
First thing first: this is a book of projects, not a book on woodworking techniques. In terms of number of projects, this book is a GREAT value. Each projects comes with at least a two-view drawings: front view and side (or top) view. Most of the projects also have an exploded view to illustrate how the project goes together. Better yet, each project comes with photograph of finished product. One caveat: The drawings are not actual size; we have to enlarge them to full size. The authors explains several methods how we can do it.Below, I give you the complete list of the projects so you can decide yourself whether they are to your liking.Kitchen Projects:1. Fantastic Read
Other than the delivery been left outside in the rain and having the book saturated with rain it’s the best buy yet. Ever page you turn over on this book gives more and more knowledge. I will be looking for more books similar to this one. Full of information on how to construct carpentry projects. All the design work done for you and to scale. I purchased this book secondhand but, it’s well worth the full price if others are not for sale. For a beginner it’s just the job you can not go wrong with this book you name it you will find a project to construct in it.

Good idea book but not a how to step by step book for beginners
It's a good book to come up with ideas and has some pointers on how to do it but I feel the bullet points are always too vague for a beginner like me. So maybe more recommended for a intermediate level that already knows the basics and feels comfortable with just some pointers. The projects inside the book are interesting and for all taste and sizes.Would be nice to have the dimensions also in the metric system.

Good Bang for the Buck.
Nicely put together softcover, with lots of projects geared towards the beginner. Certainly getting your money's worth with this book with respect to size and number of pages.
