I have been using this Total Soy for close to a year now. I have a shake for breakfast (once a day). I have managed to lose 25 pounds so far and it was easy. I was at close to 225 pounds at my heaviest weight check and when I started. My favorite is the chocolate, but you can flavor the vanilla however you like it. I seemed to have allergies related to the Herbalife shakes. That's just me, but this has helped me with feminine issues such as hair growth under the neck. It really slowed and pretty much stopped that. I was having a hard time with that! The soy in it helps boost estrogens for women over a certain age. I have been able to keep the weight off with just one shake a day. I prepare my shakes and take them with me in a tinted-cup (with straw). I sip on that all day. Having a fruit helps suppress any urges until close to dinner time. In the afternoons or evenings I eat regularly. This is really a great supplement. It tastes good too. That's why I am taking the time to write this review.

wow. this is the BEST meal replacement i have ever tried and i've tried a few. i have it with almond milk and it fills me right up for about 3-4 hours. it also doesn't seem to constipate me like the whey shakes do. this has been a huge help in keeping me on my diet plan. i have not tried any other flavors but this tastes like chocolate milk pretty much. i use two scoops in a tall glass of almond or soy milk and i'm set. already bought 4 more as me and my mother are using it. also the price is the best i've seen so far when it comes to meal replacers.

I have been using Total Soy for close to 3 yrs now, but had only ever had the vanilla (ick!) and the chocolate. These are great for anyone who is lactose intolerant, or needs to keep something non-perishable at the office for a quick meal fix.My staple for the time had been chocolate (buy the large bag at Sam's Club) but had never been able to find the strawberry.This is a great product, and I recommend mixing with water (only 150 calories this way), rather than with milk. I use as a breakfast meal replacement EVERY weekday, and at least 1 weekend day.Flavor is superb. Highly recommend getting a shaker bottle (pretty inexpensive to buy) so it mixes more smoothly...add a few cubes of ice, Total Soy powder, and water then shake away.This reminds of an ice cream strawberry shake and is quite tasty. Highly recommend!

I've used this line of meal replacement shakes for a few months when working on losing weight (read: fat). It's amazing how well something like this can make you feel full with so few calories, yet still give you the energy you need to make it to the next meal without snacking. The Bavarian Chocolate flavor is great, though you need to let it sit for a while after mixing with the liquid or else it has a dusty flavor. Compared to most other products this is an excellent deal at well under $1 per serving. Careful of the other two flavors, in my opinion the vanilla one is just awful and the strawberry one is bad, though tolerable.

I don't mind the taste. It isn't great or awful. I think it would probably work as a good meal replacement. It's a little difficult to get the lumps out, but shaking in a sealed jar works, although not stirring with a spoon or whisk. The biggest problem I have is that a liquid just doesn't satisfy me as a meal replacement. I miss the sensation of chewing. A small bar wouldn't work, either, though. Maybe I just don't have enough motivation to use this kind of product consistently and get used to it. Most of the foods I buy are usually packaged for at least 2 people, so there are always leftovers.

I purchased this time as I would like to tryout the meal replacement shakes. I am lactose intolerant and does not go well anything with whey. I have been drinking this for a week now, once or twice a day, as meal replacement and so far I have lost 2.5lbs. I ordered the other flavor but not through Amazon as the other chocolate shake flavor I have order did not arrive on time (Ontrac said it was missing somehow)...Anyway, this did not give me any cramps or gas which I like. The flavor is great. I mixed it with couple of strawberries and ¼ cup of vanilla yogurt. I love the taste!!! Will continue to drink this for now until I reached my goal weight then will maintain it...

I bought this because appeared to be the same item that I purchase at Walmart. This was a larger container and better price, so I was pleased to find this bargain.However, when this came in the mail there were glaring differences. This item has 30 more calories per serving and additional nutritional differences, such as a higher sugar content. I ended up keeping the package because I wanted to try it anyways. Unfortunately, the differences didn't stop there.The biggest issue I have with this product is the taste difference. I really like the Naturade Total Soy at Walmart because it is creamy without having to be blended and doesn't leave an aftertaste. I use a blending bottle for it, not nothing with a blender or bullet, and it's thick and creamy. This product has a HORRIBLE aftertaste and is basically chocolate water. Even trying it in an actual blender with ice, it is still very watery.I'm incredibly disappointed and will not be purchasing this again.

Very nice taste! Also really like the Bavarian Chocolate.
