Merrell Men's Moab 2 Vent Hiking Shoe

I was looking for low cut "everyday" walking shoes with great support. Merrill and Keen are my go-to brands. These Merrells look great, and fit my feet perfectly right out of the box. True to size, breathable and comfortable. I trust them to last a long time.

I bought these shoes and the next day hiked the AT. They were and still are very comfortable, no "breaking-in" needed.

I have worn Merrell products for many years. My only complaint over time has been that the soles separated after a couple years. No problem - smear the inside of the the separated sole with Shoe Goo, wrap with heavy rubber bands, put some heavy weight on them for 24hrs to “cure” and they’ll be good for several more years until the tread starts wearing down. The many Merrell shoes and sandals I have purchased over the years have always been comfortable and true to size and shape. The pair of Moab 2 vent hikers that I bought during Amazon Prime Days were even less expensive than the exact same shoe on the Merrell website where they were on sale for 25% off!

Typical Merrell product in that they fit well and are comfortable out of the box.

This is my 2nd pair of this exact shoe. They’re comfortable and incredibly rugged. I work outside, & never really know what kind of terrain I’m going to encounter through the course of a day. I never really have to worry with these shoes. I’m equipped. They’re so well made, that I still wear the last pair that’s over a year old. May not sound like much, but when you wear the same footwear nearly 7 days a week, a year is a lot longer than most shoes last. Merrell Wins Again!

Well, not extremely tight that it's uncomfortable but firm so that your feet do not slide at all. I was hiking in Havasu falls and path can be quite rocky. When traversing over these rocks your feet can land at different angles. I did not tie my shoes tight enough (thinking I wanted my feet to breath) and got blisters. Noob mistake. But the shoes were great. I felt safe wearing them and they had awesome grip. I love the walnut color too. Very cool.

Super comfy great all-rounder had many merrells in the past I would advise anyone always go have a size larger.
