Oilfield Survival Guide, Volume One: For All Oilfield Situations Paperback – January 2, 2017

The book is great. I appreciate that the author wrote the book with safety in mind. Excellent real world experience and explanations.I’ve been in the business for 12+ years and I learned or relearned many things.

I serve as the Emergency Response Manager for a large oil and gas production company and came across Mr. Hatami's book last January. Since that time we are using it as a basis for education and policy development and its issued to all of our Operational and HSE leadership to continue building our culture of success. This book is filled with practical/tactical tips and valuable stories about tragic consequences of poor decision making or apathy. Highly recommend this to add to your library as its rich with documented case studies.

Book is a good read, mostly covers oilfield accidents.

This book is a must read for beginners and veterans in the oil and gas industry. Much knowledge can be gained from the detailed accounts, failures, and successes of an ever changing, dynamic field of employment! It is written in a captivating way, and I couldn't put it down. I will personally benefit from it, for the rest of my career !

I wish I had read this 30 years ago. A must for young (and old) who work in the oil patch. The author has done a super job of telling oilfield stories as a teaching tool.
