Fun book to explore
The illustrations are great and there are so many different things to look at - we notice something new each time! Our favorite part is looking for Gold Bug hidden on each spread.

A great book for children who are fascinated with cars, trucks, and all things that go!
This book, partnered with toy vehicles, has been my go-to gift for 2-4 year olds (mostly boys).

Richard Scarry’s books are so classic. His illustrations are timeless and endearing. Follow along with the Pig family on a road trip to remember. Featuring a delightful silly array of cars, trucks, and things that go, this book can be enjoyed in a variety of ways.In addition to the Pig Family, you’ll meet Dingo Dog on a mad dash from the law and look for the friendly Gold Bug hiding on every page. There are vehicles of all kinds in the city and the country, on land and by sea. family favorite
We love this book. All of our grandkids grew up reading this-and i just purchased it again for my niece who is expecting. When adults enjoy the book as well, it makes for a happy reading session. There's lots of things to look at in the pictures, and talk about. We loved to look for Goldbug hidden in the pictures. Richard Scarry never fails to delight!

A must have children's book.
I first encountered this book when I was a student at Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. I had no children of my own but was captivated then by the imagination and how the story kept moving through a wide variety of interesting vehicles. Finding Goldbug became a challenge. Would the pig family adventure be all they hoped? Would Officer Flossie be successful in reeling in DIngo? Now that I have grandchildren, I cannot imagine them growing up without enjoying this marvelous tale.

So fun
Got this for our car-lover and he loves it. Since he can’t read yet, he needs help but It’s entertaining for grown-ups too (which is helpful when you have to read one book multiple times). Finding the gold bug in each page is really fun too.

Best book for kids ever!
I bought this over a year ago and I still have to read it every day! Luckily there is so much to discover and as his little mind expands we keep finding new details to talk about. It used to be just seeing a train, now we look for specific types of tractors with wheels or tracks!

Captivating book for littlies who can't sit still
Perfect for 3 y.o. grandson, can finally get him to sit still long enough to enjoy a book. He loves finding the hidden Goldbug on each page, and remembers the names of the vehicles and characters so well. Quirky and fun, Richard Scarry books never disappoint.
